Common Interest Clubs
CHESS & GAMING CLUB Available to grades 9-12 Active throughout the school year. Chess and gaming club offers students the opportunity to gather and enjoy informally (and possibly formally) competing in chess and other board games.
FFA Available to grades 9-12 Active throughout the school year. The National FFA Organization is a student run organizational promoting premier leadership, personal growth and career success through Agricultural Education. The Tomah FFA strives to develop members into well rounded individuals, providing different opportunities, in: agriculture, recreation, community service, and career exploration. A few activities members can participate in include: community events, leadership workshops, conventions and community service projects. INTERNATIONAL CLUB Available to grades 9-12 Active throughout the school year. International Club celebrates and promotes the understanding of diverse cultures, languages and heritage in our school, our local community, and beyond. The International Club is an organization for worldminded students who enjoy international culture experiences as well as social, educational, and outdoor events as a means of enjoying others’ company. The club promotes leadership development and fellowship. DRAMA / IMPROV CLUB Available to grades 9-12 Active throughout the school year. This club offers exercises in improvisation, acting, and stagecraft. Students will dive into scene study and master classes. These exercises assist and prepare students in the annual school play and musical recitals. FCCLA Available to grades 9-12 Active throughout the school year. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
HOSA Available to grades 9-12 Active throughout the school year. HOSA-Future Health Professionals provides opportunities for secondary and post-secondary students to plan and participate in educational experiences that prepare them for careers in the health care professions.
