An update on our Wyeville playground fundraising efforts. Thanks to Oakdale Electric Cooperative for their $1,000 donation to our playground project! In addition, we held a Penny War which raised $1,172.54 - pretty crazy for a small school to achieve in a short amount of time. Even better, we had an anonymous donor who more than matched our efforts by giving the school another $1,200. In total, the Penny War contributed $2,372.54. Wow! If you thought that was great, listen to what was earned at last Saturday’s Brat Sale at Double Barrel. We made a whopping $5,200 through sales, donations, raffles, etc... This total was matched by Copper Road Receiving Station for a total of over $10,000 raised. Double wow!! A huge thanks to Double Barrel, Copper Road Receiving Station, the staff and PTO members who came to work the stand, and everyone who came out in support. It is so greatly appreciated!

We have been humbled and astonished at the kindness shown to our little school by so many in the community!

The High School had four students nominated for the Exemplary Performer Award at the UW-Eau Claire State Solo Ensemble festival, which was held May 6th. At this year’s festival, there were twenty-four judging sites, seeing a combined 3,000+ performers throughout the day. Each site judge nominates students who stand out from the rest, and by the end of the day further narrow it down to one winner per site.

Daniel Gordon, Yarielis Guzman-Rivas, Kami Murray, and Nevin Hwver (pictured L to R) were all nominated within their performance sites, and Kami and Yarielis were awarded the Exemplary Performer Award for their musical theater solos! Congratulations to them all for their accomplishments!

*Won the Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC) THREE times in a ROW!

Congratulation ladies on an amazing season!

Here’s how the Boys Golf season came to a close: at the Conference championship the Varsity boys took 2nd by one stroke as a team! Owen and Jake led the team, each with 77’s and top 5 finishes. Congrats to the JV team who won the conference championship meet as a team. Owen Anderson was a medalist finishing one shot ahead of teammate Landon Pierce. At Regionals it was -Survive and advance. 85 was the highest score and this group kept grinding all the way to the last hole! Next, they moved onto sectionals in Waunakee where hey faced lots of water at The Meadows of Six Mile Creek. Congrats to Collin Ritter leading them with an 81 and his best score of the season! Unfortunately this is where the boys’ season came to an end but we congratulate them on a great season overall!

A career fair was held at the High School, with 50 tables of opportunities for the students to learn about, as they plan for their futures and set goals. From a variety of career options to colleges to military, the students were able to ask questions, see examples, and hear first hand from recruiters and employees. After the school day, the career fair was opened up to the community.

The THS Diversity Club stepped up to help support Family Promise of Monroe County and Krishna Battista by collecting Menstrual Products during Womens History Month and Raising $150 during Asian American/ Pacific Islander Month.

We are so proud of our students for putting forth the efforts and thinking of others in need. Way to go Timberwolves!

The Middle School’s 8th grade Cardboard Boat Race is a much anticipated event every year! The students split off into groups and are responsible for designing and decorating their boats -and it’s always so much fun to see all the creativity! This year was a chilly, overcast day with lots of wind...it helped on the way down but really put the student’s paddling to the test on the way back! Parents and students on shore cheered on each boat as they attempted to get the best time, and thoroughly enjoyed the fun of all the sinking ships!

Yes, my experience definitely affected my decision on what I want to do when I graduate I might end up continuing my YA career path, but not right away I will try to get my journeyman in construction first then decide what I want to do

I would say it made my GPA go down a little, as I learned how to deal with issues in the business. I wouldn't recommend to students if they can't handle pressure from a boss It didn't affect my attendance at all The YA impacted my engagement, as I was willing to learn and try new things even though I didn't know how to do them at first
