HAPPENING IN OUR DISTRICT

The High School had four students nominated for the Exemplary Performer Award at the UW-Eau Claire State Solo Ensemble festival, which was held May 6th. At this year’s festival, there were twenty-four judging sites, seeing a combined 3,000+ performers throughout the day. Each site judge nominates students who stand out from the rest, and by the end of the day further narrow it down to one winner per site.

Daniel Gordon, Yarielis Guzman-Rivas, Kami Murray, and Nevin Hwver (pictured L to R) were all nominated within their performance sites, and Kami and Yarielis were awarded the Exemplary Performer Award for their musical theater solos! Congratulations to them all for their accomplishments!
