APICS PART 1: BASICS OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
APICS is a complete education and training program focused on
providing participants with a solid foundational knowledge in the field of supply chain and operations management. The program includes two part modules that are divided into sets of 5 sessions. Participants will receive one book for the Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) covering the materials for the only module in PART I. To register, email us at: tmac@utrgv.edu Instructor: Hector Ramirez, worked for 33 years in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing areas for the steel, earth moving and automotive industries. Through his career Mr. Ramirez worked in several different countries, and besides his operating experience has participated or lead multinational teams on “green field” plant construction projects, global product sourcing projects and IT systems re-engineering or implementation projects. His latest responsibility was the re-hauling and start-up of a 500 employees automotive Tier 2 stamping facility.
