What’s the Airman & Family Readiness Center Mission? To provide targeted Airmen and Family support and services, contributing to the mission readiness, resiliency and well-being of the Air Force community. The A&FRC provides services in several areas: – Information, Referral and follow-up – Coordination and consultation with other base and civilian agencies to strengthen base policies and programs, all in effort to benefit Air Force Families. – Assistance for base leadership in their efforts to meet family needs. Who is eligible? – Active Duty Military members and their family members. – Guard and Reserve members and their family members. – Retired military personnel and their family members. Deployment Benefits: – Give Parents a Break via CDC – Hearts Apart Morale Calls – Car Care Because we Care * Vouchers can be obtained at the Airman & Family Readiness Center Airman’s Attic: Hours of Operation Mon – Fri 0730-1600 **REOPENED 10 August (Open to all E-6 and below, all services) Airman can come once a month and fill a bag with items. If you are looking for something specific, we can notify them when a donated item comes in. The Tinker Airman’s Attic, located in the Airman and Family Readiness Center, offers young Airmen and their families a place to pick up household items, clothes and toys for children -- free of charge. The facility is run by volunteers and stocks items military members want to pass on. *ATTENTION SINGLES* You do not have to be married or have a family to use the A&FRC. There are many useful programs for you too! Food Pantry: Appointment only at this time.
Fri, Sept 11 // 9:00 - 11:30 pm Military Spouse Orientation is a great event to network with other Military Spouses navigating military life. You will learn about Tinker AFB Helping Agencies, familiarize yourself with military customs & traditions, as well as learn some great military “Life Hacks” from experience spouses. DITCHING THE DORM 1st & 3rd Thursday // 1:00 - 2:30 pm Thinking about moving out of the Dorms? Join us for one of our “Ditching The Dorms” Virtual Workshops to learn how to financial prepare for your move. Reserve your spot by calling the A&FRC.

Contact American Red Cross for emergency assistance 877-272-7337 Appointments: Although we do our best to accommodate Airman’s needs, we are limited by manning and can see your folks much easier if you make, or have them make, an appointment with us, by calling 739-2747. Personal Finance Readiness: We are here to help with all types of financial questions; basic money management, building a budget, preparing to move out of the dorms, debt reduction, understanding TSP, saving and investing to just name a few of the available services. Don’t wait if you have a question about finances, call us to make an appointment and let us assist you to discover new ways to maximize your money.
