Due to the extremely high interest in the SkillBridge Program, the Education Services Center has developed a monthly SkillBridge Briefi ng. FREE ONLINE CULTURE COURSE FOR ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL

For active duty AF Service members, the Air Force Culture and Language Center off ers a free online distance learning course. The course is titled “Introduction to Culture (ITC)”. The course earns three semester hours of program elective credit and fulfi lls residency credit towards the CCAF degree. The registration/enrollment window opens 22 SEP and closes on 28 SEP, or when full. The 14 week summer course starts on 15 OCT 20 and ends on 27 JAN 21. ACCESSING HIGHER EDUCATION BRIEIFNG

Interested in learning everything you ever wanted to know about continuing your education? We are here to help! The Education Services Center provides a 2-day “College 101 – Accessing Higher Education” briefi ng, off ered the second week of each month. Topics covered include comparing military and civilian education programs; identifying a potential career or degree; factors for choosing an institution; requirements for admission; funding sources (including GI-Bill), and more! This briefi ng is benefi cial for those beginning their education or those who plan to continue their education after leaving the service. We will tailor the content to fi t the needs of our participants through interactive activities and instruction over the course of the 2-day workshop. Participants are encouraged to sign up approximately one month in advance as space fi lls quickly.
