Carteret County Democratic Party will hold their Annual Convention Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Carteret County Courthouse in Beaufort, beginning at 10:00 am with registration at 9:00 am.
Delegates should sit together by Precinct while caucusing and voting on matters of party business. Only Delegates duly elected at their Precinct meetings are eligible to vote at the County Convention but all Democrats are urged to attend and participate.
There will be numerous candidates or their campaign spokesperson on every level from the Campaign to Elect Joy Lawrence Register of Deeds and Roger Eaton for County Commissioner to the Fernie J. Hymon, Jr. for NC Senate and Jim Nolan 4 NC House campaigns and from the NC Governor's race, the NC Court of Appeals and Supreme Court Justice seats to the US Congressional and Senate races. We must take back NC, keep FAIR and HONEST Judges and we must keep Kay Hagan in the US Senate and elect Marshall Adame for U.S. Congress NC-03.
