TIAGO CRUZ
Educator and artist, Tiago has a bachelor’s degree in pedagogy from the University of Brasilia and a post graduated degree in professional and technological education from the Federal Institute of Espirito Santo, both in Brazil. He works in art-educational environments since
2015, researching social, educational, and political questions that involve race, gender, accessibility and representation inside educational and cultural institutions.

Researcher and volunteer responsible for creating and coordinating workshops at Brazilian public schools about art, race, social issues, photography and how to look at our society through a critical perspective. Also worked as a photographer, vídeo maker/editor, writter and designer.

Collectively construction of a hammock created with fabric and knots dolls named “Abayomis" during the exhibition "To-and-fro" (2019) at CCBB. It was made to reflect about the multiciply of the Brazilian identity and the technology of Indigenous, African and Afro-Brazilian people.
