Tiffany Miller
I am currently a student at Georgia Southern University. I will obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design in May of 2024. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Fisk University. I am excited to use both of these degrees in the future to create designs that are beneficial to mental health and to create environments, both commercial and residential, that increase and positively benefit clients’ mood and behavior. I am proficient in many design applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, Illustrator, and Lumion. I enjoy being able to use my creativity and organizational skillls to create new designs that are pleasing to clients.

The restaurant will have a menu tha is inspired by nature. It will have café food along with a fresh deli style menu. The design of the restaurant will be an industrial incorporating iron, brick, cement, and wood already located throughout the site. There wil also be a cottage core elements featuring neutral palettes and bringing n natural greenery and light textures throughout the restaurant. Landscaping throughout the site will be updated bringing bright flowers and plants into the area. With outdoor seating and lots of beautiful scenery, here will be an emphasis on creating an interior that mimics the outdoor scenery Good health and well being focuses on promoting healthy lives and well being for all ages. This project is for a restaurant named “Window Seat”. It is a bistro that serves fresh foods like salads, sandwiches, and desserts. It has a full service bar and outdoor seating. The previous page shows two boards I have created to display the overall design. It includes elevations, a mood board, Sustainable Development Goals, sections, floor plans, and 3D views. This is an already existing building in Savannah, Georgia that would be renovated and turned into the restaurant seen here. It was orginally the location of a railroad station and still has trains located throughout the site. The goal was to bring industrial elements from the existing train station with the iron, brick, and wood. and mix it with cottage core elements like bringing in more plants and a neutral palette into the interior.

This project is for a small home in Chattanooga, TN. I had the task of keeping a sinmple. neutral color palette with a few pops of color. I was inspired by the nature in chattanooga and how deciduous the enivonment is and decided to pull colors and patterns from nature I designed the elevations in AutoCAD and created the mood boards from various trade furniture vendors.

Project 3
This design was for a camp ground with cabins. I drew gained inspiration from nature for this design and wanted to keep a simple, dark color palette. The goal was to make the inside match the natural environment of the forest.

Inspiration
These are models done for the project. The wood model was done using different wood lengths and widths. It has a removable roof to see the inside. The site plan shows where the Cabins would be located as well as the overall look of the site retreat. There would be five of these cabins located throughout the site.
Project 4
This project was for a multigenerational duplex. Each side included ADA accessibility as well as aging-in-place elements. The plan is to create a space that is open and inviting. The design focused on a mid-century modern design that will be incorporated into a universal design. I used a neutral palette on the cooler color spectrum to keep the place feeling clean but not like a hospital with all of the accessibility accommodations. The goal was to have enough space to host gatherings as well as being a home that feels safe and private. The floor plan was done in AutoCAD and the floorplan was created in Revit.

These are the renderings done for the project. I used Lumion to create a better 3D visual of the living room and bathroom. The rendering of the kitchen/dining area was completed in Revit. The two elevations of the ADA bathroom and of the kitchen/dining area were also done in Revit.
Small Projects
This is the office of a school that I redecorated. The principal of the middle school wanted something warm, inviting, and wouldn’t feel like most ridgid school offices. The mascot of the school is a black knight so we decided to incorporate a lot of iron into the design. She also wanted to play with greens and neutural colors and have a design that wasn’t too bold. To the left are the before pictures of the office and to the right are the photos after the project was completed.
This is a kitchen renovation for a rental property in Statesboro, Ga. The house was very dated and the cabinets were damaged and needed an overall new layout. There is a small window so I decided to decorate around it and make it a focal point. We took the cabinets to the ceiling to elongate the space and redesigned the layout of the cabinets with knobs unlike the cabinets before. I chose silver hardware to not clash with the blue palette and to coincide with the new countertops. We also picked new flooring that was similar to the old wood as an ode to the old design.
This project was for a middle school and was meant to be a wellness room for teachers to relax during their break and to decompress. It is the size of a standard room but I made some modifications to the space. I covered the bulletin board in a tapestry and curtains to create a focal point in the room. The fabrics were treated to meet firecode for the school. The room includes massage chairs, a refrigerator, coffee bar, cabinets full of everydays needs and supplies, plenty of seating, and tables. The rooms plays soft instrumentals during the day, and the lights are always dim with light up trees that produce warm lighting.
