Jenx and Jiraffe recruitment drive Thanks to a period of business growth over the past 12-months, Sheffield-based postural support specialist Jenx and its UK distribution division, Jiraffe, is recruiting more people to join their teams. Between Jenx and Jiraffe, eight people have recently been appointed including a product advisor, despatch operatives, productive operatives and a marketing manager. Now, the organisation is actively looking to fill the positions of Regional Sales Manager, Despatch Operative, Head of IT, Head of Operations, Finance Manager, two Customer Support Advisors and a Technical Service Co-Ordinator. The recruitment drives comes at a time after Jiraffe and Jenx have experienced a significant period of growth across the range of market leading postural support equipment. Drive launches community and care home beds range Medical products manufacturer Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has launched two new electric profiling bed families, the Bradshaw and Casa Elite. Both bed ranges offer flexibility and choice for nursing and residential care settings, with cross-compatible accessories and innovative modular designs. Drive developed an innovative design solution that enables the aesthetic of the Casa Elite bed (pictured above right) to be upgraded with a modular head and footboard design that encloses the bed actuators in a few minutes. The design allows for the head and footboards to be replaced and repaired quickly and easily, reducing product downtime during recycling, service and maintenance. In addition, the Bradshaw range of beds feature an auto regressing backrest are designed to maximise end-users’ comfort. The Bradshaw bed is available in five different wood finishes with optional leatherette padded inserts for the head and footboards , making it also ideal for a home care setting. Both of these latest bed ranges by Drive come with the option of a large selection of wooden and metal side rails.
Peter Nicklin appointed chair of Tunstall Healthcare Global health and care technology company Tunstall Healthcare has announced the appointment of Peter Nicklin as Chairman of the Board. Peter has international experience as a senior healthcare executive with Baxter International, Bayer Healthcare, Novartis and BristolMyers Squibb. More recently, he has been chief executive and member of the board of Amann Girrbach AG based in Koblach, Austria.
