Whitney, Tyson, Maverick and myself welcome you to our 4th Annual Sale. First, I want to thank all of our past bidders and buyers for their support. We wouldn’t be able to continue our passionate pursuit of excellent Simmental and SimAngus genetics without each of you.
We are experiencing unprecedented times in the cattle industry today. What an amazing season to be in the cattle business! The genetics that cattlemen and women utilize today will sire some of the most profitable calves anyone has ever seen. By continuing to focus our program on serving the commercial beef producer, every year we strive to enhance our herd with sound genetics and superior performance ensuring that the livestock we offer will help you attain your goals. We have selected genetics for efficiency, performance, and profitability, so you can capitalize on these upward market trends.
The 2025 Sale highlights a set of three full brothers from a past donor T-99/ Element. T99 has produced several high-sellers in past auctions, and I think she did it again with these Element sons. They are moderate, sound, and stout. Another featured lot is TRF Infrared 6L. An Infra-Red son out of one our newest Lover Boy donor cows. This is the only bull calf out of a flush of 10 embryos, but he is definitely one of a kind. Great structure and packed with power. Finally, the Makers Mark/ Minnie flush was very successful. The two bulls we are offering TRF Bourbon 4L and TRF Whiskey 8L are soggy, have great dispositions, and are the cow-making kind. Backed by several notable cow families these are the bulls that will make daughters you’ll drool over.
Finally, we are trying something a little different this year. We decided to offer some coming 4-year-old females from the heart of our herd. These girls have made a living on fescue and will fit in almost any program. With the value of the calves they are carrying, it’s hard to let them go, but we want to share more of our genetics with our customers. Serviced by sire TRF Command K281 (ASA# 4324655) for late March through April calving, this nice set of nine cows will sell in one group.
Thanks for the Friendship and Continued Business,
Travis Smith

Two age-advantaged bulls that we used in our own herd this past year. 88L had a 68 lb birth weight; we used him to clean up some heifers. The 90L with a 76 lb birth weight cleaned up some cows on Dad’s herd to put some more Reddington influence in his genetics. They held up well, and will cover a larger group of cows.
