THE
RENOVATION Augusta, GA has a rich history of military service and is the location for Ft. Gordon, a major Army installation. Already recognized as the mecca for golf, Augusta is honoring these two major attributes to bring a new destination golf course to the city, built by veterans. The AMGC will be constructed as a signature, fully ADA compliant golf course designed as one of the most accessible golf facilities in the nation. Phase I will involve the design, construction, and grow-in of the front nine of the AMGC. This will include the complete 18-hole course design and layout, landscape design and engineering, in addition to the construction of tees, greens, bunkers, turf, irrigation, drainage, cart paths, and bridges. Phase II will involve the design, construction, and grow-in of the back nine of and the renovation of the practice tee and green areas. 4
