Operation Double Eagle® is a veteran workforce development program in Augusta, GA that removes barriers to employment for individuals that served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Through our intensive job readiness program, veterans and transitioning active-duty service members get connected to a network of employers for positions in multiple industries including golf, turf, irrigation, horticulture, heavy equipment, landscape, and construction.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, APPRENTICESHIP

Operation Double Eagle® links certified classroom education, hands-on training at the Double Eagle Performance Center, and work-site apprenticeships to equip Warriors for employment. The education courses are free of charge and do not require use of the GI Bill.

In partnership with Augusta Technical College, veterans receive certification and accredited course work in Horticulture Science, Turf Management, Irrigation, Pesticide, and Golf Course maintenance.

The program incorporates applied learning at the Double Eagle Performance Center*, a state-certified training facility for veterans to receive hands-on instruction before advancing to actual work sites.

The Warrior Apprenticeship provides real-world experience to prepare former military service members to work alongside civilians and demonstrate their new career skills before entering the job market.
