MY COMMUNITY NEWS Volunteers Needed for Wānaka House & Garden Tour

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ needs more volunteers to help at the NZ House & Garden Tours taking place in Wānaka on Friday, 24 and Saturday, 25 February. The tours hero some of the beautifully curated homes and gardens people love to read about in NZ House & Garden magazine. As the charity partner of the event, the tours have raised more than $1.5 million for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ since the partnership began in 2014.
“The money raised from the NZ House & Garden Tours helps to fund our life-saving work in research, education and patient support. It’s always a highlight of our calendar, giving Kiwis the chance to step inside some of the country’s most exquisite homes,” says Ah-Leen Rayner, chief executive of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. Volunteers are required for morning or afternoon shifts to help to make sure the houses are looked after and the tour-goers are kept safe. In return, they’ll be gifted an exclusive goody bag and discounted tour ticket.
