Saturno is a New York program director with Beacon Health Strategies in Tarrytown and a national fellowship recipient at New York University Silver School of Social Work, where she is presently working on health care solutions for the elderly and chronically ill. CRISP was created as an independent, nonpartisan organization that recognized the importance of the Congressional Social Work Caucus and sought to complement its mission and work in accordance to the rules of the U. S. House of Representatives. It is committed to expanding the participation of social workers in federal legislative and policy processes and will act as a bridge between social work researchers and the federal government to ensure their research is known to federal policy makers.

This relocation, which will complement Westchester Eye’s continuing presence in Yonkers at 984 N. Broadway, features easy access, ample free parking and other conveniences. Westchester Eye Associates opened in 1974, and has greatly expanded over the past 35 years. Today it is the largest eye care specialty practice in Westchester County and one of the largest in the New York metropolitan area.

seliGMan elected treasurer of hanys Joel seligmAn, president and CEO of norTHern WesTCHesTer HosPiTAl (NWH), has been elected treasurer for the HeAlTHCAre AssoCiATion of neW york sTATe (HANYS). A nonprofit organization, HANYS is the leading authority on health care policy and operations that represent and advocate on behalf of New York state’s hospitals and health systems at all levels of the federal and state government. HANYS is the only statewide hospital and continuing care association in New York state, representing 500 nonprofit and public hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies and other health care organizations. Seligman, who is a member of HANYS board of governors, will hold the office of treasurer for the 2014 calendar year. Under Seligman’s leadership NWH has operated with a surplus in 10 of the last 11 years. During this period, it has opened a new neonatal intensive care unit, an interventional radiology suite, two new operating rooms, a breast institute and a women’s imaging center. The hospital also opened a new cancer treatment and wellness center in 2005 and a new, state-of-the-art emergency department in 2011. In 2014, NWH will be-

gin building a new surgical suite, which will include six operating rooms and a 14-bed post-anesthesia care unit.

banK proMotes ferreira Wells fArgo named mAriA ferreirA as the new area president of the suburban market, which spans six counties from New York’s northern Hudson Valley to coastal and western Connecticut. Previously, Ferreira was an area president in Wells Fargo’s Central New Jersey market since 2009. “I’m so pleased to welcome Maria to the suburban market,” said Joe Kirk, Wells Fargo’s New York and Connecticut regional president. “She has been an outstanding leader in Southern New Jersey and her sig-
