The cases of Covid-19 in Dagupan, Pangasinan has been going up and down for the past 5 months, and traveling to school is utterly unsafe and costs a lot for the fare. That’s why PHINMA University of Pangasinan (UPang) brought the payments and enrollment closer to students by encouraging them to transact online.

Students of UPang can now pay their school fees through banks, Mastercard, kiosk machines, or remittances for a hassle-free transaction. Although the teller section inside the campus still entertains walk-in payments, these new modes are more practical to use if you are away from the university; no need to wait in long lines, no course schedule, and away from the crowd.

As claimed by a GCash user, Caroline Pant from College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), "Satisfactory naman po since mas safe siya and then makikita mo agad na pagka transact mo sa GCash, agad agad paid ka na [at] bawas agad sa portal." She also added her experience back when she waits in the queue in the teller. "Before po, pag pumipila talaga mahirap kasi sobrang haba, sayang ang oras, mainit, tapos may cut off pa. Unlike ngayon, mas convenient talaga kasi you can pay anytime." Just as Caroline, Jericho Santos of the College of Management and Accountancy (CMA) said that online banking is much feasible, especially this pandemic. "Very accessible compared sa pipila ka nang matagal which is very tiring and hassle. No need para bumyahe sa school [para] magbayad."

However, they also attest that they do not receive their permits via email after

paying and filling up the form. With that, professors consider the receipt as proof and allow the students to take the tests during exam week.

Following are the payment options in settling the school fees: For 7 Eleven branches, go to the Cliqq

kiosk machine, select Pay Bills, and type "PHINMA EDUCATION" as the biller. Fill out student name, student number/ID, and the amount to pay. Get the slip from the machine and pay at the counter.

For remittance centers such as RD Pawnshop Money Changer, write "PHINMA Education" as the receiver, and fill out the payment slip with your name, student number/ID, and amount to pay. Present the payment slip to the cashier and pay. For GCash, select Pay Bills, then click Schools. Search and select "PHINMA Education", then fill out the required details. For over-the-counter, you can deposit at Chinabank - 3690102713, or RCBC - 9005208703, with "University of Pangasinan, Inc." as the biller. For student numbers NOT starting with 03-, add 03-. After your payment, fill up this form for confirmation: https://bit.ly/UPPaymentForm Convenience fees may apply.
