– John Ren Tabor, CSS

“As a medical student, it is a burden for me to take our classes at home since we badly need various laboratory executions to hone our skills and acquire deeper understandings that highlight our professionalism in the future. Cafes, malls, and other tourist attractions are open but Philippine universities are still intact in following national guidelines, such as having online teaching for their students to at least take their courses and specialties. In my opinion, the opening of schools for face-to-face learning must be exercised immediately because the boundaries of learning are soaring high resulting in constricted treatment for the students. I believe learning is an active process. Amidst this pandemic, educational institutions, as well as students should take the risk of returning to the typical modality of education to procure effective wisdom and become a globally competitive individual that will lead to the betterment of our country.” – Irish Tisha L. De Vera, CHS

“No, it'll be risky for students to attend face-to-face classes. Since there are a lot of families who suffer financially because of the pandemic, it will be hard for them to sustain their financial needs especially if their child is attending a school far away from their place. That's why in this situation where COVID -19 cases are still rampant, it'll be safer for students, as well as teachers to maintain the FLEX and RAD Learning.” – Shane Missy Bayani, CMA

“Under my contentions, I'm on neutral ground. For face-to-face, the purpose is to externally find errors to convert them into a new core lesson coming from my professors. Since the so-called FLEX learning, A.K.A. online class, for the record, it has relevant contexts, but it's a bit too far from face-to-face class the pressure, the ambiance inside the classroom, and also the external activities that are relevant to the grounds of architecture. Since the pandemic was raging, the impetus of community quarantine endeavors the compelling proclamation of face-to-face classes. I will not throw the dice and risk my life just to engage in face-to-face, thus, a decent education will never be a substitute for good health.” – Desiry Arboleda, CEA

“The trends on TikTok about the situation during face-to-face classes are enough reasons for me to push the idea of bringing it back. One thing we miss deeply, aside from the efficient and practical learnings, is the fun and bond created inside the four corners of our room. Indeed, we would be safe from viruses, but we cannot escape from anxiety. I would gasp for that air, no matter how awful it smelled, rather than let it pass and ran out of breath.” – Maica Joy Eslao, CSS

“Personally I believe that online learning was and is better than face to face classes. Online learning is easier and safer for everyone because of the whole Covid-19 situation, people with weak immune systems, asthma and other health problems would find online learning easier because they can stay home and stay safe knowing they have less of a chance to contract the virus. Also, going to school during this pandemic can be scary for some people because of school protocols and people in their classes not abiding to them. School is a challenging time for everyone at the moment and I know everyone is trying their best to get through it but online is the only way everyone is going to get what they want. I believe we should learn online in Zoom meetings or live classes where the teacher is online to help people if they need it. Besides, the ratings would be higher for people attending classes if they're online rather than face to face, that's what I believe anyways”. – Roland Jan Claridad, CHS

“No, because opening face to face classes can cause many risks such as the transmission of the virus and lack of health protocols. Students may be careless during classes that can cause harm and the fast transmission of the virus.” – Harvey Angel Andrada, CITE
