HOUSE REPORT
Blackwater House Report I think it is safe to say that Blackwater have had a brilliant past few weeks. Camera, Lights, Action! The term started with a bang, as the girls were able to get out their costumes and transform themselves into movie characters for the Blackwater and Craig house dinner. Once again, Miss Simmons did not let the team down as the night was filled with endless amount of activities, music and delicious food that really made the night! From Mario and Luigi to the glamorous Audrey Hepburn, our version of Disney Land was successfully created! Blackwater House ended House Netball on a major high as the girls won the inter house netball competition, winning the Junior B, Senior A and Senior B as well as the overall competition! Blackwater girls were brimming with happiness and excitement and as always they had given it their all. A huge thanks and congratulations to everyone who got involved and for all the organisers.
A night that many will not be forgetting Noticeable achievements have not been overlooked, as events such as the ‘Charity Revue’ was organised by MeiLusha Askaroff (Year 13) to raise awareness and create an event where musicians can show off their incredible skills, including one of our own Megan Lee (Year 13). The Live Lounge event was a night that many will not be forgetting especially when Mimi Gould (Year 12) and Mary KeastButler (Year 10). Both sounded phenomenal as we got to hear and see a sneak peak into their creative song writing minds as they both performed their own tunes! Achievements have not just been outside the classroom but very much in, as Year 13s and 11s had to cope with the gruelling mock exams! However, the girls have all been working unimaginably hard and without fail they will all do amazingly. Congratulations to all. 22
