Wearable Crystal Energy by Heather Askinosie & Tammi Jandro
Energy Muse Jewelry was founded by longtime best friends, Heather Askinosie and Timmi Jandro, from Manhattan Beach, California. Heather’s background in Feng Shui and her studies of crystals among healers, scientists, mystics, and Geomancers around the world, led her to design the first piece, called Prosperity. She made ten prosperity necklaces for ten friends, including Timmi, asking them to wear the necklaces for ten days straight. After the ten days, everyone realized they had experienced a shift in regards to prosperity and began to inquire about where they could find more necklaces. With Timmi’s background in business and merchandising, they teamed up and began selling jewelry out of the trunks of their cars. Energy Muse was officially born. They were not planning on going into business, but once they worked with the crystals, they realized that their plan and the plan of the gems were two different things. Now over a decade later, Heather and Timmi make the perfect balance in the company’s growth into a global brand. Through the gemstones, Heather and Timmi learned about the energy of the gems and the energy of the Earth; they learned that they could harness the Earth’s energies through the crystals and therefore synchronize themselves with the Earth. Even though the energy was invisible, they recognized its existence and it became very real. Through creating Energy Muse, Heather and Timmi took an intangible and made it tangible by transforming it into something people could wear on their body. For the founders, their 11-year business has been quite the roller coaster ride. Working with gemstones forces you to go deeper within your soul to find what you are truly made of. Along the way, they have learned many lessons and faced many hardships, but the rewards are never-ending. They say that sometimes with gemstones, you have to really stop and listen. And when you take the time to listen, it gets easier to find the answers. The gemstones are purely tools. A person’s faith in God or a higher power is the source and the gemstones are what helps one channel and connect to that source. Heather and Timmi wanted to create a universal tool that was accessible to anyone of any faith, and was a constant reminder of one’s intention.
