Pete had a playing career of 7 full seasons, all with Boston, and baseball is still a big part of his life as he coaches in the local community. Being a professional athlete was an incredible experience that taught Pete many valuable lessons that he uses in everyday life and business. Seaside has historically been an impoverished, low-income area. We are seeing lots of generationally owned properties being sold and lots of money being invested into updating and rehabbing these homes. We are also starting to see more new construction as well.
Seaside is centrally appointed to everything on the Monterey Peninsula and is within 20 minutes of wherever you would need to go. With that said, Seaside is more affordable compared to Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel, making it a convenient and financial viable option for the working class.
There is no abundance of buildable land available anywhere on the Peninsula. Water is a also a commodity in Monterey County and if you do not have “water credits” you cannot build.
