We are bringing back our Food Trucks 4 Lunch beginning Thursday April 11. We will host vendors between 11:30-1:00pm on the first payday of each month through September.
Due to the upcoming construction of a new Building A and an addition to the Justice Center, we will need to move our food trucks down the steps to the grassy area beside the Chamber of Commerce. We will have to walk a few more steps (and burn a few more calories) to get to the food trucks, but it just means we can load up on the goodies once we get there! Community Services is providing several picnic tables so that we can enjoy the food in that location instead of carrying it back to our offices.
Here are the vendors for April 11:
Pop’s Kettle Corn & Lemonade

Marie’s Caribbean Creole
(https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076334510044)
Southern Fired Foods (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088216611928)
Help spread the word, and plan on supporting our vendors that set up for us on April 11th!
Shown below with a smiley face is where the food trucks will be set up!
The yellow arrow shows where the staircase is to walk down to that area.

The images below show the employees who completed both Fire Extinguisher Operations Classes on March 21st, 2024. Everyone enjoyed the hands-on instruction from LT. Evan Davis and LT. Be on the lookout in the Roundabout for upcoming courses in the near future. ~Risk Management~
Stormwater Compliance would like to congratulate Wheeler Cowart for obtaining his Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC).
This national certification requires a minimum of 7 years education and experience along with passing scores on both the Principles exam and the Mathematical exam. This professional certification, recognized by the EPA, illustrates proficient training and testing on subjects including soil science, predicting soil loss, runoff management planning, land stabilization, and structural BMPs, among others. Way to go, Wheeler! Awesome work!
~ Katie Beth Jennings, Storm Water Compliance ManagerOver the next couple of months, we will be removing the outdated equipment in G2. Our plan is to replace it with new equipment and new flooring! It will be a work in progress, but know that your patience will be worth it once we get the new weight and cardio equipment installed. A rubberized mat flooring is also going to be installed. Stay tuned!
