A heavy stock box with lithographed paper cover and lid engraving depicting spectators viewing an African village exhibited at the Paris Universal Exposition of 1900. Inside the box are two brown-complexioned bisque dolls with socket head, sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, tiny teeth, paper mache body, and wearing well-detailed exotic costumes, along with a glass-eyed cameo with blanket, and various wooden utensils and dishes.
