The Property Experts Foundation

It is important to ‘give back’ to our communities and help those less fortunate. This is why £50 from every sale is donated to The Property Experts Foundation. The money donated will be distributed to charities nominated by property experts to support good causes and make a difference in people’s lifestyles.

How much can you earn?

This opportunity really does give you unlimited earnings. Property experts earn 70% of the fees generated, so your income depends on your average fee and the number of properties you sell.

For example if you sell 4 properties per month, with an average fee of £3,000, you will earn over £100,000 per year. You could earn the same amount by selling 2 properties per month with an average fee of £6,000 (see example 1). By selling just one property a month you would still earn £50,000 per year (based on a £6,000 average fee).

You may decide to focus on higher priced properties, for example by listing and selling a property worth £500,000 and charging 2%, the fee would be £10,000 you would earn £7,000 for selling just one property (see example 2).

Earn 80% of the fee

Once you achieve a certain level of gross commission income per year you will move up to the 75% or 80% tier. This will remain in place for 12 months and will continue thereafter if productively levels stay above the threshold.

Recruit an assistant

This additional income could enable you to recruit a personal assistant, to take on some of your work, so you can be more productive or work fewer hours.

Building your own team

Another option is to build your own team of property experts. On their own they would qualify for the normal 70% tier, however as part of your team, you would benefit from 80% of the fee income generated by your team. So effectively you could pass on 70% and keep 10% for providing your personal support and guidance to your team of Property Experts. Based on each Property Expert in your team banking £10,000 per month, you would earn £1,000 per month (10% of £10,000), per Property Expert on your team.

Other opportunities to earn

You can also earn an additional income and help your clients by recommending a conveyancer, mortgage broker or other services.

Note

When comparing self employed estate agency models, it is important to compare commission structures. Also bear in mind you will want to work with a network that will help you win more listings, justify a professional fee and help you get your listings sold and through to exchange. There is no point having a higher commission split if there is no support, you don’t list or sell any properties and you are unable to justify a professional fee.

Licence fee

£150+vat per month

Transaction fee £150+vat per transaction

National Advertising Fund £25+vat per transaction

The Property Experts Foundation £25 per transaction

National Advertising Fund

A national advertising committee made up of property experts, will decide how this fund is invested on behalf of the agents. For example 400 completions per month will generate £10,000 per month to be spent on a national campaign to help generate market appraisals and brand awareness. A contribution of £25 by one agent could result in them benefiting from £10,000 worth of advertising.

The Property Experts Foundation

It is important we ‘give back’ to society and our communities. For each transaction £25 will go to The Property Experts Foundation. Each year the money will be distributed to charities nominated by the property experts. The company will match the donation, so £50 per transaction will go to good causes.

Getting Started

Property experts will be operating under their limited company. The following will be required as part of the set up and compliance process, see below

Property Experts will also will also be required to pass an internal compliance examination. Training will be provided.

What does the ideal property expert look like?

We are looking for like minded individuals (and couples) who want to start their own business. More importantly, they have to share our vision to raise the standards in estate agency by providing a first class service, excellent marketing and outstanding results for clients.

The ideal property expert would be entrepreneurial, ambitious and hard-working. Estate agency experience is not required if candidates have run their own business before, or have sales and marketing experience.

This business is all about marketing properties and your personal brand. Creating video content and using social media are important skills to have or be prepared to learn.
