UDisc is an American based app that allows players to discover courses near them, keep score with friends, track statistics and find and follow local disc golf events. UDisc statistics show that August 2020 was the company’s business month ever, worldwide, with more than 1.6 million rounds recorded. The app is offered at the Paris course. Statistics provided by UDisc show Paris golfers played 7,718 rounds in 2020, which is almost double the number of rounds played at its neighbouring course at Mohawk Park in Brantford, totalling only 3,892. According to the company’s website, when outdoor activities were deemed safe during the pandemic, participation in disc golf rebounded quickly. Success in Paris continued well into 2021. Locally the app tracked 10,049 rounds this year to date, with 1,397 games played in September alone. The disc golf season in Paris runs from early-April to Mid-October, weather dependent.
