S P O RT S U13 team brings home Gold from Nazem Kadri North London Classic last weekend The U13 LL 2 Fifth Ground Entertainment hockey team was in the Nazem Kadri North London Classic tournament last week and in true Wolfpack fashion, the team rallied together to bring home Gold! It all started with a game against the North London Nationals B6 on Friday. Paris took the 4-1 victory, getting off to a nice start. That momentum was temporarily halted with a tough 4-1 loss against the West London Hawks on Friday night. Back on track the next day, the Wolfpack faced the Belmont Rangers in a 7-3 win. Up next was West London Hawks again in an epic rematch that saw Paris come out on top of a hard fought 4-2 battle. Unfortunately, the team’s amazing centreman, Emmitt Hunter, was injured at the very end of the game. The team would have to play without Emmitt heading into the finals against North London Nationals A6 team. It was quite the experience for the young team, playing at the Western Fairgrounds on Olympic sized ice! It really was a team effort as the Paris Wolfpack clung to a 20 gold medal win. It was also the first shut out of the tournament for Lucas Baldwin. Everyone rallied for Emmitt and played 100% after a tiring weekend. Congratulations team!
