**Councillors got a first look at a high density, mixeduse neighbourhood proposed for 305 King Edward Street in Paris Sifton Properties’ plans for a new subdivision include 405 dwelling units and 221 townhouses and apartment buildings ranging from 4-7 storeys There’s a maximum allotment of 500 square metres of commercial floor space.
**Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board starts its Boundary Review with a Public Meeting. Overcrowding and larger French immersion classes were some of the reasons why the school board suggested plans to send Grades 7 and 8 students to high school before Grade 9. The plans were not well received and after a lot of backlash that option was removed from the table
**Plans to redevelop on the former Walker Press property, located at the corner or Yeo and Willow Streets in Paris, were unveiled to the Brant Heritage Committee on October 5th . The newest owners of 3 and 7 Yeo Street will demolish the existing building to construct a 6-storey residential building with a total of 62 one and two-bedroom units, complete with underground parking. The company presented its plans at a public open house but is still awaiting approval to proceed from the project from the Independent Electricity System Operator
