**County of Brant and City of Brantford vote in favour of reinstating Shared Services Committee During separate meetings, both Mayors made it abundantly clear there was no interest in amalgamating the County of Brant and City of Brantford.

**The County of Brant welcomes Brant Celebrates Culture Days with more than 30 events taking place county wide from Friday, September 22 through to Sunday, October 15 Culture Days is a national celebration of culture Culture Day programs invite the public to get hands-on and behindthe-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.

**Lions Park came alive with cultural music, dance and food on Saturday, September 9th as the Afro-Caribbean Festival was in town It featured lots of traditional dance, drum experiences, steelpan performances and even a fire show at night.

**You might say the U16 Paris FC Girls’ Soccer team was unstoppable this season In tournament action, the girls brought home the championship at the Ottawa Kicking it in the Capital Tournament in early September. Fresh off that win, the team capped off their incredible season with a 20 win over Club Roma to win the League Cup and secure the double (League Champs plus League Cup Champs) The team clinched the Niagara Soccer League Championship with a win over Brantford City in the last game of their undefeated season (14W, 0L, 3T).

**Mayor David Bailey drops the puck on the first official regular season Paris Titans home opener at the Brant Sports Complex. The Paris Titans, newly branded following the purchase of the Paris Mounties earlier that year, dropped a 5-0 game to the Woodstock Navy Vets in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 600 people

**The Adult Recreation Therapy Centre celebrated the Grand ReOpening of its satellite office in Paris at the Cowan Community Health Hub.

**Five Oaks Centre welcomed a representative of local MPP Will Bouma to discuss the impactful $150,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). This funding played a vital role in the recovery from COVID-19's effects Completed this summer, the project significantly improved air quality, safety, and environmental sustainability by upgrading HVAC systems in the 70-year-old main building as well as retreat houses.
