**Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) has partnered with Rocket Doctor to trial a new service giving patients an alternative option to the Emergency Department (ED), while still providing access to appropriate health services. People visiting BCHS’s ED or consulting the hospital’s website will be made aware of other alternatives, such as using Rocket Doctor’s virtual same-day appointment services to potentially prevent the need for an ED visit.
**Paris man, Logal Barrett, travels to Istanbul to aid with rescue and recovery efforts following a major earthquake that rocked Turkey and parts of Syria in the early hours of February 6th . Logan went over with Operation Orphan, a humanitarian group based in the United Kingdom. He’s part of the Crisis Response Team whose responsibilities will be to protect vulnerable children who could be displaced, separated from family, or orphaned following the devastating earthquake that registered

**Paris Panthers Boys’ Hockey Team beats Hanover 4-2 during C.W.O.S.S.A playoffs and advances to O.F.S.A.A. They went on to finish with the fourth best record in Ontario.

**The Provincial government provides the County of Brant with $280,774 in gas tax funding to help improve local transit services
**Orlando Corporation

The site sits just outside the community of Paris in an area bounded by Hwy. 403, Powerline Road, Rest Acres Road and Cleaver Road.
