FAMILY DAY County of Brant Announces Family Day Closures and Service Changes

Urgent Matters:

The County of Brant has announced that it will be closed on Monday, February 19, in observance of Family Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 Residents are advised to take note of the following changes to services during this period:

County of Brant Customer Service Offices:

The County of Brant's customer service offices will be closed on Family Day and will reopen on Tuesday, February 20, 2024

During this time, individuals will not be able to receive in-person assistance

Online Services:

While the customer service offices are closed, the online chat feature will also be temporarily unavailable. However, residents are encouraged to utilize the various services available online.

In the event of urgent matters, individuals can contact the County of Brant using the following emergency contact numbers: 519.44BRANT (519.442.7268) or 1.855.44BRANT. Please remain on the line to be transferred to an emergency dispatcher who will promptly assist you.

County of Brant Public Libraries:

All County of Brant Library branches will be closed on Sunday, February 18, and Monday, February 19, in observance of Family Day. Regular library services will resume on Tuesday, February 20

Garbage and Recycling:

Landfills:

The Biggars Lane Landfill and Paris Transfer Station will be closed on Family Day, Monday, February 19. For operating hours and further information about the landfills, please refer to the Landfills webpage.

Public Transit:

Brant Transit will not be in operation on Monday, February 19, due to the Family Day holiday. Full transit services will resume on Tuesday, February 20 For additional information regarding public transit schedules and routes, please visit the Brant Transit webpage.
