LINDA SCHWARZLOSE
KNOX, IN - Linda Schwarzlose, 78, died Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born May 31, 1946, in La Porte, Indiana, to the late Martin and Vivian (Meadows) Barker.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, one son, Jason (Nancy) Miller of West Salem, Illinois, two daughters: Candance (Dennis) Kain of Burlington, Kentucky and Rhonda Johnson of Indianapolis, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Ross.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 26, at Round Lake Cemetery in Knox, with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Contributions may be made to the family.
Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox.
SHERRY M. WILLIAMS
CROWN POINT, IN - Sherry M. (Byfield) Williams, 87, died Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her home. She was born October 16, 1936 in Winamac, Indiana to the late Charles L. and Wilma M. (Horton) Byfield.
Sherry graduate from Winamac High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Jordan School of Music at Butler University. She worked at a daycare in Crown Point for nearly 25 years before retiring. She had a genuine joy for life and a passion for music. She enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, going to the movies and playing games. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by two daughters: Kelly Funkey of Crown Point and Deanna (Steve) Brinkman of Naperville, Illinois and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Wilma C. Murphy and Leaine B. Gibson and one brother, Charles F. Byfield.
Private entombment will be in the Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac, Indiana. A memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Association of Winamac Music Boosters.
Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
