SETH ADAM FLORES LOCKRIDGE
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Seth Adam Flores Lockridge, 32, died Monday, June 23, 2025. He was born December 18, 1992 in Hammond, Indiana.
Seth was a veteran of the US Air Force. He loved fishing, gaming and he was a loving father to his children.
He is survived by his children: Arian Everett Lockridge and Scarlette Kay-Marie Lockridge, his parents, Gary Lockridge Sr. and Marilyn Lockridge, two sisters: Tara (Ron) Pitts and Angel (Austin) Lockridge, one brother, Gary (Laura) Lockridge, Jr. and special friend, Katlynn Marie Burch. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ryan Lockridge.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 12 at 1pm, with visiting two hours prior to the service at M.C. Smith Funeral Home.

RONALD McDANIEL JR.
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Ronald “Bub” McDaniel Jr., 52, died Monday, June 23, 2025 in Winamac, Indiana. He was born August 13, 1972 in Winamac to Ronald McDaniel Sr. and Sue Ann (Tunis) McDaniel.
Bub was a member of the North Judson American Legion Post #92. He enjoyed singing karaoke and being at Gene’s body shop working on cars. He loved spending time on the farm with his family.
He is survived by one daughter, Joanne Neeley, three grandchildren, his father and step mother, Ronald and Vicky MCDaniel Sr., three siblings: Crystal (Troy) Shepard, Jenifer Zuniga and John McDaniel, all of North Judson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Ann McDaniel.
Services were held Friday, June 27 at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Allen officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery in North Judson. Memorials may be made to the North Judson American Legion Post #92.

PETER JOHN BOGDAN
KNOX, IN - Peter John Bogdan, 77, died Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in Knox, Indiana. He was born March 14, 1948 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Peter J. and Helen (Slavo) Bogdan. On July 2, 2001 in Crown Point, Indiana, he married Terri White.
Peter was a veteran of the US Army and had worked as a utility tech. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being out in nature, doing mechanical work and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Terri, three daughters: Stephanie (Richard) Newton of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, Heather (Eric) Bogdan of Hammond, Indiana and Camellia (Brittan) Stice of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, numerous grandchildren, one great grandchild and three sisters: Macinea Dolby of Grain Valley, Missouri, Rose Hensley of Attica, Indiana and Livia Pearson of Sarasota, Florida. No services will be held at this time.

FERN L. LEMAN
FRANCESVILLE, IN - Fern L. Leman, 100, died Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville, Indiana. She was born December 9, 1924 in Francesville, to the late Fred and Katie (Munz) Gutwein. On August 1, 1945 in Francesville, she married Sidney B. Leman. He died December 31, 2017.
Fern was a 1943 graduate of Francesville High School. She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida with her husband, family and friends. She was a devoted member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by five sons: Dennis (Linda) Leman, Douglas (Margaret) Leman, Scott (Kathy) Leman and Curtis (Valerie) Leman, all of Francesville
and Larry (Pam) Leman of Monticello, Indiana, two daughters: Kristine (Neal) Widmer of Battle Ground, Indiana and Arlene (David) Metzger of Franceville, twenty seven grandchildren, seventy three great grandchildren and one sister, Suzanne Cook of Francesville. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Infant Rebecca Leman, two granddaughters: Infants Mitzie and Abbie Metzger, four sisters: Louise Albrecht Heinold, Esther Gray, Dorothy Beer and Marcella Gudeman and five brothers: Francis, Harvey, Edwin, James and Glen Gutwein.
Services were held Friday, June 27 at the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church with Ministers of the Church officiating. Burial was in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. Memorials may be made to Parkview Haven Retirement Home or the Apostolic Christian HarvestCall (Haiti Dairy or Jamaican Bible Translation).

DEREK M. SMITH
WINAMAC, IN - Derek M. Smith, 30, died Thursday, June 26, 2025 in Winamac, Indiana. He was born February 11, 1995 in Prestonburg, Kentucky to Camilla T. and Robert Smith Jr.
Derek enjoyed walking his cats, fishing, swimming and his daily calls to his mother. He loved animals and exploring nature.
He is survived by his mother, Camilla T. Smith of Fort Wayne, Indiana, his step dad, Doug Pier of Monroeville, Indiana, two sisters: Desirae Soulliere and Kimberly Steiner, one brother, Devin Smith and grandparents: Carolyn Arnett of Fort Wayne, Linda Smith of Virginia and Robert Lamb of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family to help with final expenses or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

FLORIAN VALENTINE JANASZ
KNOX, (BASS LAKE) IN - Florian
Valentine Janasz, 89, Friday, June 27, 2025. He was born April 13, 1936 in Leavenworth, Kansas to the late Bartholemew and Anna Mary (Vlecharczyk) Janasz. On June 1, 1968, he married Orlean Risner. She died January 5, 2022.
Florian was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the 10th Mountain Division in Germany. He worked 31 years as a machinist/welder at White Cap Company in Chicago, Illinois.
He is survived by one granddaughter, six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by fourteen siblings.
Friends will be received from 4-8pm on Wednesday, July 2, at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 11am at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery in Knox.
