Also, Perogies and Jam and Debbie Fedoruk Singers performed some lovely Christmas carols, FCSS hosted the Take-Away Christmas Craft Corner and were helping to facilitate the snow painting, Hitch Master Hay Rides sponsored by Vegreville Agricultural Society was, there was free hot chocolate hosted by Vegreville Interact Club and donated by Tim Hortons, pictures with Santa Photo Board created by Vegreville Visual Artists, and a warming fire hosted by Vegreville Fire Department. “What made the outdoor family fun special was we had great weather and I think families were looking for safe, fun alternatives ways to be outside and this provided that and the hot chocolate, hayrides, and families being together as well as the anticipation of the light-up really got people excited for Christmas. Overall, the response from the community was fantastic,” Langkow added.
