Time for a Creative Bender

With over 21 tutors’ artwork now on display for the month of February, this is a great time to meet the tutors and find out which class would be right for you. Meet the tutors and talk to them about their creative teaching programmes and view their work on Saturday 02 February 2019. Term One classes commence on the week of 11 February.
On Saturday 23 February we will be running a family-friendly fun Open Day from 10am to 2pm. Come on down and havea-go at printmaking, throwing on a potter’s wheel, making a kite, spin a painting or watch the fascinating process of Raku firing. The café with delicious treats will be open.
Other exhibitions on display in February include Wally Pritchard’s moody and desolate “Unfrequented Landscapes” in Gallery Two, Kirsten Reid’s “Earth Watch” of montage, mixed media and printed artwork in Gallery Three, and Lorraine Brown’s Photo Art in the Foyer Gallery.
The Art Centre is located next to the Estuary on the Te Ara Tahuna Cycleway at 214b Hibiscus Coast Highway, with plenty of parking and an onsite café. The Centre is open 7 days a week, from 9am to 4pm. Visit us on Facebook or our website www.estsuaryarts.org
