Over the past year, I have learned to remind myself, “Haley, it’s progress, not perfection!” Our second edition magazine, “Becoming your best,” is focused on becoming the best version of you, inside and out! Often during consultation with patients, I explain that I want them to look like the best version of them at the age they are in–not to look 10 years younger. Sure, I have some who wish for their face of yesteryear, but, in general, most want to look like the best version of themselves at their current age! Amen! Our life is a book with many chapters. As I move into the next chapter of my life, personally and professionally, I have learned that it’s okay to let those old chapters be just that...old chapters. Yes, they have molded you into the person you are today, they gave depth to your life but it doesn’t mean you have to keep writing that same story. So how do you start writing a new chapter? Self-awareness. This issue is all about it. Enjoy! –Haley Wood, Founder, The Look
