Tot Care
Your annual membership is good for one year from the date of purchase. As an Annual Member, you will receive all of the wonderful benefits mentioned above. This is the best way to take advantage of all The Lodge has to offer. You have the option of paying for your membership in full when you join or you may take advantage of one of the monthly payment options, listed in parentheses, below.
*Maximum of two adults and their dependents, ages 25 years or younger, who are permanent
of the same household.
All Continuous Monthly Memberships are required to have a valid credit or debit card for the automatic monthly payments There is a 12-month commitment with this option After one year, your Lodge membership and monthly payments will automatically continue until you notify us in writing that you wish to discontinue your membership. A $60, one-time activation fee is applied to all monthly payment options. This fee is due when you register for your membership.


Bring in an unpaid utility bill along with your driver's license and fill out the membership application to complete the process with ID cards and payment. Each family member, age 16 and older, must present a driver's license listing the account address to get their membership card A membership card will not be issued without a valid state ID as proof of residency.
Des Peres business and property owners receive resident rates for memberships to The Lodge. To take advantage of this great deal, you must bring a valid driver's license and proof of ownership in the form of an original business license or current utility bill to The Lodge
The City of Twin Oaks reimburses The Lodge to allow their residents to receive an annual membership at the resident rate. Proof of Twin Oaks residency is required.
Non-Resident Corporate Memberships are offered for businesses outside of the City of Des Peres. There is a one-time corporate fee of $200 for a non-resident business. In addition, a minimum of five guests must register together initially to receive the annual non-resident corporate membership rate. If you work at a business located in Des Peres, you are eligible for a discounted Corporate Membership rate. Upon joining The Lodge, you will have to show a current paycheck stub with the Des Peres business address on it, along with a driver's license for proof of employment.
If you choose not to become a member of The Lodge, you may still enjoy our amenities by paying the daily fee. The daily fee allows you entrance to the fitness center, indoor and outdoor aquatic centers, gymnasium, track, locker rooms, sauna and steam room

Youth 9 and older can play at The Lodge without adult supervision Youth under 9 must be accompanied by a member or paying patron age 15 or older. Youth 14 and older may utilize the track. Youth 16 and older may utilize the Fitness Center. Please refer to the Fitness & Wellness section (page 14) for more opportunities for younger youth wishing to use the Fitness Center.

Locks and Lockers
Lockers are available to Lodge patrons on a daily basis only. There are large lockers in the locker rooms, as well as smaller lockers in the fitness center, gymnasium and outdoor pool. You may choose to bring your own lock or rent one at the Front Desk. To rent a lock, leave your membership ID at the Front Desk. Upon return of the lock, you will receive your card back. Any lost, broken or unreturned lock will be charged to your account. Locks may not be left on lockers overnight. Each night, the locker room will be checked, and any remaining will be removed

The Lodge is the perfect place for your next business meeting or special event! We have great packages for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, wedding receptions, birthday parties, pool parties, and lockins. We can customize your event to suit your needs and impress your guest!
The Lodge has three single meeting and banquet rooms: the Dogwood, Maple and Oak Each room can accommodate approximately 50 people, depending on the room set-up The three rooms are adjacent to one another and can be enlarged by opening the retractable walls Ultimately, the rooms can be combined into one large ball room to accommodate approximately 165 people with a dance floor or 225 people without a dance floor.

The first step in hosting your event at the Lodge is to complete the Facility Rental Application at desperesmo.org/409. Upon completion of the request, you will receive phone confirmation to discuss the details of your event.

Personal Training Client Health History
Each client must fill out a medical history form in advance of your first training session at The Lodge. The Lodge may require your physician’s approval depending on health history During the course of your training, if any changes in your health occur, please inform your trainer Our personal trainers are highly trained professionals; however, they are not physicians The trainer reserves the right to refuse service if a client possesses certain risk factors In such cases, a release will be required from your physician, physical therapist or medical professional.

Any person not yet completely toilet-trained or diaper dependent, must wear an aquatic diaper in the pool For your convenience, youth swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk Diaper changing stations are located in the restroom areas For health reasons, please do not change a child’s diaper on the pool deck

Lane Designations - When choosing a lane, join with a swimmer who matches your speed, then notify the swimmer that you are joining them Lodge staff may ask lap swimmers to change lanes as needed
Ask Questions - Ask the lifeguard for help if you would like to know how long workouts have been in progress or what lane matches your workout level
Treading Water - If you are treading water, please be mindful of other swimmers and choose a slow lane to tread in You must be treading continuously back and forth
Water Walking - Water walking is allowed in the lap swimming lanes as long as you are continuously moving throughout the lane Please use lane one and the space outside the lane if available
Sharing Lanes - Two swimmers: May each take one side of the lane Three or more swimmers must circle swim

Circle Swimming - Swim on the right side of the lane leaving the center of the lane open for passing If you need to pass a fellow swimmer indicate this by tapping the person on their foot and then quickly pass in the middle of the lane, being cautious of oncoming swimmers
Joining a Workout - If there is a workout set in progress, you may only join as part of the set

Bring your family, friends and neighbors to the Indoor Pool and enjoy a family movie while you float in one of our tubes or just play in the water Water park tubes are first come, first served No outside flotation devices will be allowed. The entire indoor pool area will be open to registered participants at 5:30 pm for open swim, including our concession stand until 7 pm A limited menu will be available Check-in will begin at 5:30 pm and movie will begin at 6:00 pm SHARP! Join us at the indoor pool and add a little summer to your Spring Break! Campers will be divided into smaller groups based on their swimming ability on the first day of camp Our certified lifeguards/swim instructors will serve as counselors and lead the campers through aquatic themed days. Campers will participate in swimming lessons, age-appropriate water games, crafts, some dry land games and free swim Please have your camper eat lunch prior to camp; lunch is NOT provided. Pack a nonperishable snack and bring a full change of clothes with tennis shoes Make it a full-day camp by adding Bricks for Kidz and Lunch Bunch to your registration! Due to additional camp forms required for your child’s safety, registration will only be taken online Register by 3/6

For your convenience, your child can bring their lunch and eat with a counselor between camps held at The Lodge Register for our morning camp, Bricks for Kidz, and our afternoon camp, Spring Aqua Adventure Camp, to stay all day at The Lodge! Counselors will collect campers from the morning program, eat lunch together, enjoy downtime, and make sure they get to their next camp on time Be sure to bring a sack lunch and drink (food not provided) Campers must be enrolled in a Lodge morning and afternoon camp to qualify for Lunch Bunch Due to additional camp forms required for your child’s safety, registration will only be taken online Register by 3/6

The Lodge Swim Academy is the premier swim lesson program for your child! It is comprised of eight levels that begin with a parent-child level, and skills are based on a progressive approach as they are learned and refined Classes are for all ages and abilities Our goal is to provide a quality program where participants can continually build on skills and technique to become lifelong swimmers
According to a study by the National Institute of Health, formal swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by as much as 88% among young children aged 1 to 4 years, who are at greatest risk of drowning Choosing the right swim lesson program is the most important step in your child’s knowledge of water safety
The Lodge Swim Academy instructors are trained and knowledgeable in all areas of swimming All instructors have prior experience, are passionate about water safety and teach participants of all ages the importance of swimming skills and techniques

Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes prior to class starting to allow time for getting changed
• Children who are diaper dependent are required to wear swim diapers (cloth and disposable diapers are prohibited) If your child is sick, your child should stay home to prevent the spread of the illness
• Children under the age of 3 must be accompanied in the water by an adult before, after and during their lesson.
• We do not provide individual make-up lessons for any missed group swim lesson

This 12-class session that meets three days a week is designed for the advanced swimmer Swimmers will learn more in-depth competitive swimming techniques along with stroke development This is an excellent program for those wishing to advance their level of swimming year round without the commitment and demands of a competitive swim team. Participants must be able to swim freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and at least 50 yards continuously.

Private lessons are a perfect option for swimmers looking to gain confidence in skills or get a competitive edge Our lessons give youth or adults individualized attention to master swimming skills by setting your own goals with the instructor The instructor will then customize lessons to meet these objectives New or interested participants should complete the Free Private Swim Lesson Request Form online at desperesmoorg/194 Our staff will then contact you to schedule lessons based on your schedule and staff availability


This course teaches American Red Cross waterpark lifeguarding skills and how to respond and prevent emergency situations The class will meet to complete the pre-requisite skills (below) and then will be given 5 days to complete (and pass) the online portion before their first in-person skills session meeting on Thursday Certification includes: Lifeguard Certification, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Saturday and Sunday’s classes will include a break for lunch Attendance at all 5 classes per session is mandatory No exceptions will be made The Lodge is an American Red Cross Authorized Provider for training courses All courses are Pass/Fail and no exceptions can be made If a participant does not pass the prerequisite course requirements, a full refund will be issued If a participant continues in the course beyond the prerequisite skills and does not pass, no refund will be issued
Prerequisite Course Requirements
Available for ages 15+. Must swim 200 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing with a 2minute tread water at the 150 yard mark Candidates may swim using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both, but swimming on the back or side is not allowed Must complete a timed 25-yard swim and 10 lb brick retrieval within 1 minute, 40 seconds Skill testing takes place during the first day of each session $225/M&R; $250/NR | The Lodge Indoor Pool
