KNOWLEDGE IS POWER 20 CITY TOUR The Legend Of LionMan And The Seven Kurodos The LIONMAN Foundation, in partnership with the Disney Martial Arts Festival and the Master’s Hall of Fame is proud to launch, LIONMAN’S “7 Young American Heroes,” 20 City Tour. This is an exciting campaign that promotes achieving higher education and self-discipline by using education, entertainment, good music and martial arts principles and drills to engage students throughout the country. The 2010 “7 Young American Heroes” will travel to 20 of the top Martial Arts Tournaments in 20 popular cities, to perform their award winning karate drills that will be sure to inspire the thousands of guest in attendance. The objective is not only to spotlight the 2010 “7 Young American Heroes,” but also to search for the 2011 “7 Young American Heroes.”

Competitors between the ages of 10-17 will audition at the tournament held in each city of the tour to become one of the newly selected LIONMAN “7 Young American Heroes.” There will be seven winners total from each city that will be invited to attend the finals at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Martial Arts students will also be able to audition for the finals in Disneyland via-internet by sending in a video of their best Karate Drill performance.

eroes will be proudly honored for their service and dedication to Martial Arts an they will pass on their titles to the newly chosen 2011 LIONMAN ”7 Young American Heroes.” The 2011 Heroes will attend the Masters Hall Of Fame Banquet as special guests and attend Disneyland. They will also receive a Championship Belt and a Scholarship.

The entire LIONMAN “7 Young American Heroes” 20 City Tour will be filmed by a professional production company for a reality TV show wherein all heroes will be the Grandmaster Eric O'Neal, Sr. has been an integral presence in martial arts for over 30 years and has been working with the youth of New Orleans for over 20 of those 30 years as a Grandmaster of Karate.

Raised in the Desire housing project and introduced to martial arts at a young age, Grandmaster O' Neal grew up admiring Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris for their outstanding contributions to the world and aspired to be amongst their ranks. At the age of eleven, he won his first karate tournament in Lake Charles, Louisiana and went on to win the All South National Karate Championship for three years straight.

At the age of seventeen, he graduated from George Washington Carver, Sr. High School and took a hiatus from competing in karate tournaments to focus on his education. He graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.A. in Business Administration and continued
