Art'e Bauan holds SILAKBO art contest

As the Art Workshop Speaker, Jerwind Magnaye discussed the fundamentals of drawing and how each Bauangeños' art could be brought to life by their heart and imagination. The participants were encouraged by the guidance and advice given by the honored guests, Frederick Epistola and Joseph Albao. SILAKBO is a collaborative art project between Art'e Bauan led by Loriel “YELCAST” Castillo with the help of the Municipality of Bauan Municipal Tourism Office led by Mayor Ryanh M. Dolor, and Project Coordinator Kunst Bill Perez.

Teresians from the high school department bagged awards at the recently held 41st Karibok ang Tuktok by the University of the Philippines Batangan on December 14.

Angelica May Antonette T. Quilaton from the junior high school department clinched 1st place in Dagliang Talumpati. Audrey Geanne G. Padua placed 3rd in Pagsulat ng Sanaysay in the junior high school division, while Alexander Paul M. Tanglao and Carlotta M. Abanador, both from the senior high school department bagged 4th place in Digital Art Making Contest and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay, respectively.
