As soon as they were announced as the 2017 Dream Wedding couple, the philanthropic pair got to work weaving their commitment to charity and family into their celebration. They created a registry on TheKnot.com where family, friends and fans could donate to the Elena Delle Donne Foundation to benefit two causes significant to the couple: the special needs community and those suffering from Lyme disease. Elena’s sister Lizzie was born deaf and blind, and Elena was diagnosed with Lyme disease nearly a decade ago. Elena and Amanda made it official on Friday, November 3, on the sprawling lawn of Hempstead House in Sands Point, New York.
