WHERE DO YOU LOOK FOR IDEAS WHEN PLANNING A WEDDING? I’m really inspired by the world of interior design. I set out to design each wedding as a really homey and comfortable environment that my couples and their guests get to live in for the day. I love when elements feel full of life and even static items appear to have movement and dimension. @elysejenningsweddings

Look for a photographer that shoots the type of pictures you’d like to have taken at your wedding. If you like a reportage feel, find someone who shoots beautiful, loose photos. If you like a more portrait feel, find a photographer who does formal shots well. @tomcorbettnyc
TIM GUNN, TELEVISION PERSONALITY AND AUTHOR
WHAT TIPS DO YOU HAVE FOR GROOMS? Be yourself! Our clothes are a form of semiotics—they send a visual message about who we are. If you’re inclined to wear black, think about midnight instead. A boutonniere is a must-have. It can even be simple greenery. And in spite of shaking knees and general “nervous-itis,” your look should give your confidence a boost and, ideally, put a smile on your face. @timgunn
LAURA PRITCHARD, FASHION STYLIST
WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION WHEN STYLING “LIGHT AS AIR” (P. 350)? The concept for this shoot was ethereal and minimal. Ostrich feathers were a huge inspiration for me, as well as soft textures and a color palette of light gray, blush and cream. I visualized a lot of delicate, barely there jewelry and strappy, smooth leather sandals for this story. @laura_pritch

WHAT WERE YOUR FAVORITE LOOKS IN THIS ISSUE? My favorite dress was a particularly dramatic Romona Keveza ball gown covered in hand-painted blue hydrangeas from “In Bloom” (p. 342). It was a total work of art. I’m an old soul at heart, so I’m also really excited that pearl accessories are “in” again (p. 183). @shelley_brown_
