In 2016, President Obama appointed Wurwand a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship, one of a prestigious group of America’s top entrepreneurs who work with the federal government to help develop the next generation of entrepreneurs both at home and abroad. She has also served as a special advisor to the United Nations Foundation Global Entrepreneurs Council (GEC), supporting their work to advance entrepreneurship among women and girls. “At Dermalogica, we talk about the three pillars that make up the brand DNA.
