Fewer Treatments. Better Outcomes.
Emmy award winner and multi-platinum artist Andy Grammer continues to engage, energize and empower audiences with stomping stadiumsize pop anthems meant to be shared at full volume. His observations and affirmations pick people up when they need it, affirm their potential and encourage them to keep going.
Inspiring fans around the world, Grammer’s catalog consists of numerous bona fide hits, including the quadrupleplatinum single “Honey, I’m Good;” the platinum singles “Keep Your Head Up,” “Fine By Me,” “Don’t Give Up On Me,” “Fresh Eyes” and “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah);” the gold single “I Found You;” and the gold albums Andy Grammer (2011) and Magazines Or Novels (2014).
He lent his music to films such as Five Feet Apart and when “Don’t Give Up On Me” became the soundtrack for ESPN’s 13th annual V Week for Cancer Research, he garnered a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction and a Clio Award.
Grammer’s passions not only lie in his music, but also in his philanthropic work. He was recently recognized by Claire’s Place Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis Support (‘Clarity Impact Award’) and by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (‘Defender of Potential’ Award) for the incredible impact his work and generosity have made in the world. For tour dates and more, visit AndyGrammer.com.
Paranormal investigator, author, podcaster and star of Kindred Spirits and Ghost Hunters, Amy Bruni shares hair-raising tales from her countless hours hunting ghosts at America’s most haunted locations. Bruni shares her unique approach to interacting with the spirits of the dead and those who encounter them. By the end of the night, you will question everything you thought you knew about the spirit world and life after death.
Bruni started her professional ghost hunting career just over a decade ago, but her experience with ghosts began when she was very young. She started
working professionally as a paranormal investigator in 2007, when she appeared on Ghost Hunters. Now, she’s the co-star and executive producer of The Travel Channel’s Kindred Spirits, one of the longest-running and highest-rated paranormal television shows. Bruni is also the host of the wildly popular Haunted Road podcast. In addition, Amy is the owner of Strange Escapes, a company offering paranormal excursions to some of America’s most notoriously haunted destinations. A native of northern California, Amy now lives in Newport, Rhode Island with her daughter.
“I’ve got to the point where it’s all up to me now,” says multi-Platinum Country star Trace Adkins, “I can do whatever I want. . . and that’s a beautiful place to be.”
In truth, he’s been doing that all along, fusing a booming baritone and commanding stage presence with sounds from across the Country spectrum –sometimes with a mischievous wink.
Since his debut in 1996, the larger-thanlife star has sold over 11 million albums and charted 20 songs on Billboard’s all genre Hot 100, while catapulting 15 singles into the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. He’s also racked up two billion streams and boasts a reputation for fiery live performance.
. 18 . kauffmancenter.org
A Grand Ole Opry member for nearly two decades, the Louisiana native broke out in 1996 with the debut album, DREAMIN’ OUT LOUD, cracking the Top 5 of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with “Every Light in the House is On” and following with the #1 smash, “This Ain’t (No Thinkin’ Thing).” Since then, Adkins has pioneered a mix of classic Country minded traditionalism and adventurous, good-natured showmanship, breaking open new avenues in modern Country through fun-filled hits like “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” and “Hillbilly Bone” (with Blake Shelton).
EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURES
The Kauffman Center is equipped with advanced life-safety early alert systems. Each performance hall is designed with emergency exits in case of an evacuation. In the event of severe weather, shelter in place inside the hall, not in a lobby area, and await further instructions.
In the event of an emergency, the performance will be interrupted. Horns and strobes will sound. Emergency instructions will be delivered from the stage.
Please remain seated as staff use an appropriate amount of investigational time to verify the source of the alarm.* Should an evacuation be necessary, lighted red (Muriel Kauffman Theatre) and green (Helzberg Hall) exit signs will lead patrons to one of eight emergency exit paths.
Patrons who are not able to safely and comfortably navigate stairs should remain in the venue near one of the marked “Emergency Evacuation Assistance” areas. First responders will evacuate those requiring assistance immediately upon their arrival.
Elevators, primary entrances and the Brandmeyer Great Hall staircase are NOT used in the case of an emergency evacuation.
For more information on emergency evacuation procedures, visit kauffmancenter.org/policies.
*Kauffman Center’s emergency egress plan, which includes an appropriate amount of investigational time to verify the source of an alarm, was developed with the assistance of the Kansas City, MO Fire Marshall’s Office.
“Ever since first coming to the Kauffman Center on opening day when Julia Irene Dennie-Kauffman welcomed each of us to this world-class venue, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Each time I come in, my goal is to help make each patron have the same positive experience. I hope that my love and enthusiasm for the great programming here carries over to our patrons.
~Ann, a Kauffman Center Volunteer since 2013

PARK UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR MUSIC
When Stanislav loudenitch first started the Park International Center for Music, he began with a simple concept. Find exceptional music teachers, and give them the time, tools, focus, and dedication needed to transform exceptional students into masters themselves. An internationally-recognized Van Cliburn gold medalist, Ioudenitch assembled a team that shared his world-class skills and his passion for teaching. Other outstanding programs have great master instructors. But no other American conservatory lets those masters devote the time to their students like they do at Park ICM.
Come experience the birth of our international stars. Visit ICM.PARK.EDU for our concert schedule today.

KAUFFMAN CENTER LEGACY SOCIETY
Legacy Society members have made planned gifts to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, helping the organization plan for the future.
Barbara and Doug Cusick became Kauffman Center supporters long before ground was broken for the building.
“We were inspired by the many ways the Kauffman family has shown its support for Kansas City,” said Doug, “and we wanted to do what we could for the new performing arts venue.” Barbara and Doug opened their home and their unique collection of antique automatic musical instruments for fund-raising events. They also made a generous capital gift, purchased a seat plaque in honor of his mother and contributed to the Jane Chu Arts Endowment.
Now Doug and Barbara have looked ahead by making the Kauffman Center the future recipient of a life insurance policy their family no longer needs. “It’s as easy as changing the beneficiary’s name on a whole life insurance policy,” Doug explained. “We see this as a legacy from our entire family, that makes the performing arts and a vibrant downtown available to our kids, grandkids and beyond.”
