I recently sat down and chatted with Taryn about her locally made natural cleaning product 'The Poon Bombs'

Meet the family making their mark with The Poon Bombs. The Poon Bombs are an environmentally friendly, chemical-free and versatile cleaning product that can be found in the online The Poon Bombs store and selected retailers across the Capricorn Coast.

Taryn and her family moved back to the area a few years ago and purchased a property just out of town that had a smelly septic problem. The new set up of septic systems reuse the grey water on gardens to be more environmentally friendly. The problem is though, things are not always so pleasant-smelling.

This set the family on a mission to discover the best way to neutralise the odour as these septics cannot have chemicals used in them. Thus began a process of research and investigation to find a natural solution to help neutralise their septic problem. As a Registered Nurse, Taryn became passionate about researching the options and involved the family in the process to finding what would help combat the odours.

After about 6 months of research and testing different recipes and combinations, the perfect The Poon Bomb was born Using food grade ingredients and 100% pure essential oils. The product uses 4 basic, yet effective ingredients that are helping local homes take a more natural approach to the arduous task of keeping the house clean.
