Boys & Girls Club of Bethalto provides a safe, stable, and enjoyable atmosphere for young people during non-school hours. This nurturing environment helps children feel secure while allowing them to engage in various educational and recreational activities they love. The Club prioritizes the following program outcomes : Academic Success Character Development Healthy Lifestyles
This nurturing environment helps children feel secure while allowing them to engage in various educational and recreational activities they love.
The Club caters to youth aged 5-18 in Bethalto and nearby communities. Thanks to a donor supported scholarship program, the Club is available to all youth, regardless of financial constraints.
In 2024, the Club registered 207 members and also served 1,472 youth through outreach.
The Club is committed to reaching more children and continuing to provide a positive community impact.

Why is a new clubhouse needed?
Disconnected youth face numerous risks leading to poverty and crime. Approximately 9.4% in Madison County are considered "disconnected."
37.5% of Bethalto CUSD 8 students are proficient at reading (compared to 39.4% statewide)
24.8% are proficient at math (compared to 27.9% statewide)
Almost half of parents surveyed nationwide said they've noticed a worsening of their teenager's mental health in recent years.
Why is a new clubhouse needed?
45.6% of Bethalto CUSD 8 students are eligible to receive free or reducedprice lunches, live in substitute care, or whose families receive public aid.
