Nearly everyone today has no reservations about claiming to be a Christian. They love talking about the Lord, the bible and using His name in every situation where it gives them advantage. But what most of them won’t hear or receive is reproof. Reprove: 1. To blame; to censure. 2. To charge with a fault to the face; to chide; to reprehend. My charge as an evangelist, according to the bible, is 2Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” Yet one of the critical foundations as a successful Christian is the willingness and ability to receive reproof. Proverbs 6:23 “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are THE way of life:” One thing I’ve prayed in the past is Lord let me receive correction like a ribeye steak. And I love ribeye steaks LOL. When you join any branch of the military, you agree to be remade from a civilian into a soldier which requires a great deal of correction. When you say yes to the Lord and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you agree to be remade from a sinner into a saint, a soldier in the army of God. This requires a lot

of reproof. But for the Christian, reproof is an ongoing part of your Christian walk until you leave this walks of life. In case you have never been taught, the Christian life is one of faith every day and it is warfare. Every day requires constant vigilance, watching and praying and never taking God for granted. In one sense, God only puts into it what you put into it.
Meaning if you begin to slumber spiritually and start praying haphazardly, not staying in His Word and doing the things you know are right, He’ll let you backslide.
The onus is on you to stay close to Him. To repent daily and to ask God to search your ways and reprove you for what is wrong and/or needs improvement for His glory. I pray this way all the time. I repent all the time. Can you over repent? I think not. God is sick of religion!
Isaiah 4:1 “And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel:
only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.” If you have the Holy Ghost and any sort of revelation of the Word, this is in reference to the seven church ages and the man is Jesus Christ. As aforementioned, most every Christian these days love to use the name of Jesus for their own gain but very few strive to live in obedience to His Word. But that doesn’t make it right. According to most Christians, there is no standard of living right anymore. They believe they can do and say all the things the world does and they are still going to heaven. But what does God Almighty say?
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change NOT; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” 50 years ago, going to the movies was a sin. If it was considered a sin then, it is today. If it’s ever been a sin, it still is. God doesn’t accept excuses and nothing you do or say is hid from Him; period.
Christians today have been caressed into a deep spiritual sleep by all these worldly
preachers who have no fear of God and are willing to preach anything they think their followers want to hear. But their day of reckoning is coming very soon. Repent! Jesus is coming.
Proverbs 24:18
Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
1Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Proverbs 15:10
Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

One thing you never see in Heartbeat Christian News is anything political. However, it behooves me to praise God for His blessing of getting our newly elected president back in office. I speak from a pure biblical standpoint in that he has proven he’s good for Christian freedoms and the economy in his previous administration. However, this should not have you resting on your laurels spiritually. There are much greater underlying problems that cannot be fixed.
Meaning that this next 4 years is time for you to draw nigh to God and still prepare for the imminent demise of this country as we know it. Not gloom and doom but a stern and honest warning. Proverbs 22:3 “A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.” As I have mentioned before, nothing can be done to reverse the severe judgment of God
owed to this nation. But consider this a stay of execution for 4 years. I truly believe if it wasn’t for the prayers of the saints of God, things would’ve went the opposite. It’s still not to say that it can’t happen but my faith tells me this could be a very blessed time for the glory of God.
The old adage is to expect the best and prepare for the worst. That is my admonition to you. The good news is that no matter what happens, we have hope. And when things do begin to get worse, our hope should grow stronger as Jesus taught us. Never forget though that God allows persecution to separate the true Christians from the hypocrites. So that is coming at some point. So make sure your faith is rooted and grounded in the age old principles that have defined Christianity from the beginning. Daily prayer, time in His Word and faithful church attendance if you
have a church to attend. And striving to live separate from worldly, sinful vices and ways. Matthew 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
Luke 17:27
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Matthew 24:39
And knew NOT until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
John 7:6
Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.

PROSPER'ITY, noun [Latin prosperitas.] Advance or gain in any thing good or desirable; successful progress in any business or enterprise; success; attainment of the object desired; as the prosperity of arts; agricultural or commercial prosperity; national prosperity Our disposition to abuse the blessings of providence renders prosperity dangerous. This definition is from the Webster's Dictionary of 1828. Poverty is a curse. Prosperity is wonderful. As long as you don’t let it come between you and God. Which, sadly, is what most Christians do. God wants you to be blessed. And, like Abraham, to keep Him first with those same blessings. You can’t help someone if you don’t have two nickels to rub together.
Ask yourself this question. Does the following scripture define you? Revelation 3:16‐17 "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:" If it did convict you, would you be humble enough to repent and ask God to help you correct the problem? Your eternity depends on it. You can’t be a “living sacrifice” if you are trusting in prosperity instead of God Almighty. This verse defines the vast majority of Christians today; sadly. God sent His prophets
which is the final church age before the end comes. Laodicean means “rights of the people”. As a Christian, the only right you have is to fear God and keep His commandments! Remember this verse as well.
“rising up early” to His people to warn them of His judgment in times of prosperity. Early meaning to warn them what would happen if they let that same prosperity come between Him and them.
You should always pray and strive to remember that all blessings you have are because of Him. Your support comes from the Lord; not your job. You wouldn’t have the job if God hadn’t of given it to you. Your good health is because of the Lord and not because of anything you do. Although we should strive to maintain good health. Every breath and every heartbeat is because God gives it to you; period. Just because you may be prosperous now does not mean you are right with God. If you aren’t praying daily and staying in His Word and honoring faithful church attendance, that same prosperity won’t help you at all. The church attendance is provided you have a church to attend. One thing you’d do well to pray on a regular basis is for God to forgive you and show you if you ever let things come between you and Him. One thing I get so sick of hearing Christians say these days when asked how they are doing is, “Better than I deserve”. If you are prosperous and living in obedience to the Lord, you are supposed to be the most blessed people on the planet. That is a testimony that will inspire a lost soul to come to Jesus.
We are in the closing of the Laodicean church age
Ecclesiastes 7:14 “In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.” The devil understands the power of prosperity and how easily it can draw a child of God into idolatry and disobedience. It is why the super rich who openly serve the devil want money to be as free flowing as possible. It’s actually part of their plan. But consider, o vain man, this verse. Proverbs 11:4 “Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.” Repent! Jesus is coming.
You won't always be able to come to the Lord if you take Him for granted. That is why the scripture teaches us to seek Him "while He may be found". If God has convicted you in the past to seek Him in prayer and you kept refusing, it may be too late for you. God does and has turned many over to reprobate minds. Which means they have no more hope of salvation. If you are trusting in religion instead of walking by faith every day, you are in danger of hell fire my friend. The only sure way to know you aren't reprobate is if you are walking by faith every day in the fear of the Lord.
Proverbs 23:17
Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
