Smile for Joel: New charity set to support terror victims By Gabriel Filan Journalist
A charity has been set up in memory of a talented Gaelic footballer from Wednesbury who was killed in the Tunisian terror attacks a year ago.
One of the last photos of all Owen and Joel Richards and Adrian and Patrick Evans together was taken outside Wembley, when they went to support Walsall in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final against Bristol City.

Joel Richards was one of 38 holidaymakers who died, along with his uncle Adrian Evans, 49, and grandfather, Patrick Evans, 78. Joel’s brother Owen, who was 16 at the time, survived the Sousse Beach terrorist attack, the first anniversary of which was marked recently with a memorial service and the laying of flowers on the beach. The attack saw gunman Seifeddine Rezgui go on a rampage in the coastal resort of Port El Kantaoui on June 26 last year. He was shot dead by police after carrying out the attack, for which terror group Islamic State claimed responsibility. Continued on Page 3...
