elcome to the 8th Annual East Bay Women’s Conference presented by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and Chevron!

Thank you for taking the time to join us for an amazing day of inspiration and celebration! It’s been an incredible journey since our first conference eight years ago. Our vision was to provide a conference where women of all ages and walks of life could come together to learn, network and socialize. We’ve been thrilled and honored to host an outstanding array of visionary speakers whose commitment and passion for a better tomorrow has been unwavering. This year’s Conference theme “Women’s Voices; Catalysts for Change” speaks to the power of women everywhere and inspires us to use our influence and perseverance to create a brighter future for us all. Today we will hear from extraordinary women who have worked tirelessly and passionately to raise awareness and create positive change. They will remind us of our inherent strength as women and of our ability to make a difference in the world we share. They will remind us of the great strides we’ve made and encourage us to continue paving the way for all women throughout the world. The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau greatly appreciates the support of Chevron Corporation and all our EBWC sponsors whose generosity helped make this eighth anniversary event possible. We thank our incredible and talented EBWC Committee whose commitment and passion for this event has produced another outstanding program. We thank you for your support and participation as we get ready to begin this magnificent day. Take advantage of all the day has to offer. Make some new friends and get reacquainted with old ones. Expand your horizons and engage yourself fully. We hope you leave here with a renewed sense of energy and inspiration as you continue life’s journey. What every successful woman knows:

Build goals for life and see each one through. Listen to your soul’s voice, it’ll tell you what you should do. Remember, power comes from within, so trust in you first. The success that evolves will come as easily as a poet’s verse. Be brave. Stand strong. And strive to achieve. Work some. Live more. And enjoy all life has in store. Your success inspires. Your determination empowers. Your passion we admire. Your lead we follow. Wells Fargo celebrates East Bay Women’s Conference. When women succeed, everybody wins. wellsfargo.com © 2013 Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. All rights reserved. Member FDIC. (810136_07441)
