SPONSORSHIP Sponsors are encouraged to participate and have a physical presence and booth at The Golden Games. Sponsors may sell goods, conduct product demonstrations, raise funds for organizations, attract new members and hand out swag or other promotional materials. Sponsor levels are based on 50% cash and 50% in kind donation’s wholesale price. Booth space is available for $100 per day or $250 for entire event. The $250 booth cost counts towards your sponsorship level. Booth space is included with all sponsors at or above Bronze Status, >$500, with $250 in cash. Sponsorships may also be customized based on your brands specific budgets, objectives, and resources. Talk to us to get a package that is right for you! A temporary sales tax license from the City of Golden is required to sell goods and services. On site sales are permitted at the Vendor Village at the softball field and the Vendor Village in the parking lot by the public library. The City of Golden does not allow on site sales at Lion’s Park and the Whitewater Park. All manufacturers promoting and demoing products who are not selling products and/or services will be located at the Whitewater Park. Sponsors are responsible for bringing or sending their own swag to give out during The Golden Games. We accept cash and in kind donations such as gift certificates, products, services, supplies and any other support in any shape and form that you can give. For instance, we have numerous “community sponsors” who donate a few $5-$25 gift certificates to give as prizes to our competitors knowing that these people will come into their business and bring their friends. Your contribution to The Golden Games will be acknowledged on our website, at the event, and through social media. Commit to sponsorship ASAP to ensure inclusion in ALL promotional materials. Our mission is to increase brand awareness and visibility to your target markets, new markets and all our attendees.

VENUES & EVENTS

Big Soda Lake Bear Creek State Park Big Soda Lake Vendor Village

The most popular SUP destination in the metro Denver area has to be Big Soda Lake in Bear Creek Park.

Located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Morrison Road and 470, Soda Lakes is an easily accessible location for paddlers living in Denver or the sprawling western suburbs. The vibe at Soda Lake is very friendly with SUP’ers often gathering to share their knowledge, and try each others boards and paddles.

CCWP Vendor Village

The CCWP course is a quarter mile of adventurous, splashing fun! The top is a series of drops and pools of different experience levels and has some fast eddies. The middle portion consists of flat, broad, shallow surf waves with huge random boulders – a prime workplace for gates. The bottom section entertains paddlers with more extreme surf and wave drops. The class of this course will require paddlers proficient on fast moving, cold water, particularly during high flow season.
