Our Mission: The Golden Games will continuously seek to bring together a wide variety of communities to celebrate outdoor adventure sports through competition, music, entertainment, and lifestyle events in the culturally rich setting of Golden, Colorado.


A Message to Our Partners Dear Friends, I would like to thank everyone who has supported TGG by participating, competing, sponsoring, volunteering and all other forms of support that you've given. We invite you to participate in this event to start the annual Springtime migration to Colorado for action sports, events and competitions. The Golden Games will be held May 20-22, 2016 in Golden, CO. The Golden Games is one of the fastest growing outdoor action and adventure sports events in Colorado. The success of TGG is directly attributed to our sponsors and partners. We're determined to make TGG the preferred platform to help you reach and exceed your company/brands objectives and goals while also helping grow this event. 2014/2015 Partner Events The Golden Games has been a Training Event for the GoPro Mountain Games (Vail Valley Foundation) since 2013. The Golden Games is featured on their website, Facebook page, Twitter posts, and other media outlets. Over half of The Golden Games competitors compete in the GoPro Mountain Games and this number is expected to increase.

The Golden Games is part of the Hometown Throwdown by World Kayak, whose “most active program sector is our event program with well over 200 events world wide in 2010, an event series that combines fun competitive events with regional demos and much more.�

The Golden Games is also part of the Rocky Mountain SUP Races which consist of approximately 22 different SUP races across Colorado.

Reach a diverse audience to target markets from our competitors, volunteers, spectators and other participants. Double competitors for every event, as well as increasing the number of competitions in each sport. We expect a 45% growth in competitors and a 100% growth in spectators and participants for our free clinics and events in 2016. Additional events in Slackline Competition, Boater-X and SUP-X Competition. Special Events, Clinics, Product Demos and Educational Seminars Environmental impact, Leave No Trace, fishing clinics, product demos, etc. ACA certification courses Special appearances by world class professional athletes • Paddle with the Pros • Clinics Fund raising for nonprofits; such as First Descents, Trout Unlimited, American Mountaineering Association, Colorado Mountain Club and many others. Increased physical presence of companies related to The Golden Games and the outdoor lifestyle competitions. Specifically vendor booths selling products/services, demoing products. Food/beverage vendors, liquor permit/beer garden and possibly a brewery/distillery competition/events.

In the future, The Golden Games will:

•Brings outdoor enthusiasts to Golden and makes it a destination for professional athletes and local weekend warriors alike.

Evolve as a standard event and generate increased media attention.

•Gives Golden’s economy a boost by bringing a large event to town.

Receive future modifications of its venues to maintain and improve their ability to handle the progression and attributes required by our events.

•Draws large crowds due to it’s accessibility from the Front Range and greater Denver Metro area.

Elevate Golden as a destination for outdoor enthusiasts from all around the world!

•Official training event for the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado, part of “World Kayak’s Hometown Throwdown” and the “Rocky Mountain SUP Race Series.”

Continue to promote sponsors and partners to everyone that attends or hears about the event resulting in more participants and customers. Offer new competitions/venues and create events that appeal to everyone. The Golden Games will mature into a town festival with a carnival, numerous entertainment events, etc.

•Increases the appeal of Golden with its wide variety of activities.


Super-Charged Registration The Golden Games has partnered with Race Director Solutions, the world’s first fully integrated event management and registration platform. Event organizers get all the features they want with one log-in, one password, and one database. RDS keeps event management simple, saves events/directors time, creates efficiencies and increases revenues.
