ounded in 1992, Biotique is a combination of the 5,000-year-old science of Ayurveda and 21st-century biotechnology. Today, Biotique has become a big brand because they personify the ultimate in authentic Indian traditional medicine, advanced by cutting-edge Swiss biotechnology. Biotique is gaining excellence in the organic industry due to their product purity, sustainability, universality, pioneering research, development, and manufacturing for almost 30 years now.

EVOLUTION OF THE BRAND

Vinita Jain, the founder of the company used to live in an Ayurvedic time capsule- on her family’s tea plantations in the lush foothills of the Himalayas, five hundred miles from the nearest hospital. Her first teachers were the Masters—whose forefathers were the ancient Sages who created Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation, and other proven holistic philosophies. Vinita started her lifelong quest to advance the wisdom of her holistic legacy. She learned Sanskrit and studied ancient Ayurveda texts from the Himalayan masters. After a while, she left the Himalayas to pursue higher studies. After completing college, she studied biotechnology in Switzerland and used her knowledge to introduce her own brand, Biotique. Today, Vinita leads a team of qualified Ayurvedic Doctors, Scientists, and Swiss Cosmetologists who design, manufacture, and pack all Biotique products. And the result is right in front of us: highly effective skin and hair care products that treat and preserve health, beauty, and well-being as never before.

Biotique produces highly effective products by combining hybrid plant and plant extracts with biotechnology. The company has a special cold extraction process that preserves the active ingredient of the plant so that the intelligence of the plant

CFOs IN THE ADVERTISING ECOSYSTEM TO DRIVE TRUE TRANSFORMATION In a rapidly changing advertising world, can Chief Financial Officers help companies make the most of their investments in digital advertising?

I

t is very easy to say that marketers can prove in great detail where is the advertising budget allocated and how they contribute to the top line but that is possible in theories. How many direct sales a Twitter advertisement produced, how many of those were new customers, and how their spending has affected the margin on each product sold can only be explained in theories but if we look at practicalities, it is much more challenging.

Practically, the structure and opacity of the digital advertising ecosystem make it much more difficult and challenging to actually calculate and understand where all the budget goes. According to statistics, only about 25 cents of every dollar spent on digital advertising results in the placement of an ad that is seen by a real human being. This clearly states that no matter how hard are marketers trying to produce value through advertising but they can use an assistance from

22 | TheGlobalHues | Vol. 1

| Issue 12 | August 2021

colleagues who have a different set of capabilities: Chief Financial Officers. Giving CFOs more power in the marketing ecosystem can truly become an asset. CFOs just need to task colleagues to aggregate and analyze budgets and monitor the cash coming in and going out. According to the PwC Global Entertainment & Media Outlook, global spending on digital ads in 2020 was $125 billion, and it is growing at a healthy annual rate of 4.2 percent. Considering the size of the spending, CFOs cannot afford to continue viewing expenditures on marketing as a black box rather they have to prioritize understanding the marketing system. If we take a look at history, CFOs were not needed to look at marketing expenditures and handle the ins and outs of marketing but now that the digital realm is changing rapidly, they can start getting up to speed to understand the entire ecosystem of marketing and advertising.

UNDERSTANDING MARKETING

THE

DIFFICULTIES

OF

CFOs can begin by understanding the two main reasons which make marketing so difficult to track. First one being, fragmented marketplace. Marketing is not at all a trouble-free job. A Chief Marketing Officer doesn’t just pick up the phone and place orders for advertisements. It’s not that simple. Large businesses often work with multiple agencies strategically; each agency is assigned and allocated only a portion of the marketing budget. The spending is often scattered across different platforms and regions. That’s where the problem comes in. These divisions leave the Financial Officer without a single source of truth as to how the marketing spend is being allocated. Secondly, the details of how and where the advertising budget is spent are still extremely murky. The best example can be programmatic media (the use of automated technology to purchase ad space). Advertisers buy ads from a variety of publishers via a real-time auction that occurs within milliseconds, to ensure that their ads are targeted to the right audience, in the right context, and at the right time. Undoubtedly, this marketplace dynamics enables better targeting and greater speed but unfortunately, it also causes enormous inefficiencies in the supply chain because of the immense amount of leakage along the way. A study by PwC conducted with ISBA showed that Only half of an advertiser’s spend reaches the publisher and the other half is difficult to track. The study also found that “about one-third of the supply chain costs — about 15 percent of total spending — is completely unattributable, simply lost to the system. Additionally, advertisers are likely losing more value than the study suggests, as the data stops at the publisher and does not quantify impressions that may not be seen by an actual human.”

THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM

That’s where the role of CFOs comes into play. As earlier stated, supply value leakage is a problem in the advertising ecosystem, and unfortunately many marketers are not aware of this problem. Therefore, CFOs can play a significant role here. They can challenge their marketing departments with difficult questions that can result in acquiring great value for the company. Those questions can be: zz How much of our media spending is on the purchase of ad space compared with the production of ads? zz How much of our media budget is wasted on ads not viewed by a consumer? zz How much are the fees charged by each individual player in the digital media supply chain? zz Which of our partners is providing poor value for the money? To bring transparency to the supply chain, CFOs can work with marketing departments as collaborators. While CFOs can reevaluate how to optimize marketing budgets, marketers can adjust in-flight campaigns in order to test different outcomes or drive better results. To sum up, we can say that finance and marketing officers can come together to drive true transformation and resolve the issues created by the transformational changes in the digital marketing ecosystem.

an entrepreneurs be born? Yes! Can entrepreneurs be made? Yes! These may seem like very simple questions but have a hidden meaning attached. The ability to apply dedication, discipline, hard work, and aptitude the right way and in the right space is what makes an entrepreneur successful. We can all be made into something fruitful if we have the correct vision and mission to apply ourselves unconditionally to anything we want. The same applies to entrepreneurship. As stressful as it may sound, but entrepreneurship is an amazing experience. Here are some reasons why it can be said so: 1. You are the decision-maker Obviously! It’s your business. You are your own boss and you own your own time. You don’t have to take orders from anyone, it’s really that simple. It’s all about you, your plans, your actions, your opinions, your thoughts, and your potential. And most importantly, being an entrepreneur you have full control over your destiny and nobody will get in or hold you back in the way of your ultimate vision. You enjoy much better independence and liberty while making business decisions and choices. 2. You can turn your dreams into reality Your dreams and planning are not just in your mind anymore! You get the full freedom to implement your ideas in your company. And wouldn’t it be interesting to watch your vision transform into reality right before your eyes? You can pour into your ideas and invest all the necessary resources, take risks, learn from your mistakes, build connections and communities and acquire new knowledge each day thereby, helping you to excel and grow exponentially. 3. You are a satisfied Entrepreneur now The satisfaction of saying you’re a business owner now is just beyond imagination. You can now proudly hold your head up and say “This is the company I own.” Although building a business is not an easy job and it needs more effort than being an employee of a company, but the satisfaction of creating your own business empire is a whole different feeling. 4. Connections with brilliant minds As it is your business, you make connections with extremely intelligent people from around the globe. You connect with like-minded people and professional leaders who can guide you in your journey. On the other hand, you have the freedom to work with and hire creative and brilliant minds who are full of innovative ideas, opinions, and thoughts. 5. Earning a living from what you love What’s better than earning a living doing something you really love. We can’t deny the fact that money is a very prominent aspect of any business. It’s like a win-win situation when you earn money from your own business. Moreover, you also enjoy financial freedom. You can always think of reinvesting in your business and building it into a brand. This really gives you a sense of fulfillment as you are no longer stressed about your expenses.

focus, you become an innovator. The ability to innovate in this sense isn’t just an important component of a thriving business but can also be seen as an essential element of entrepreneurship itself. 7. A work without fear Let’s face it. In a highly volatile economy, especially postCovid scenario, there is always a fear of layoffs and terminations when you are just an employee and not the owner. Sometimes, the fear of losing a job can make working seem more like a punishment rather than a source of joy. But now that you are working for yourself, there’s no such fear. And work without fear always gives space to more innovative and out-of-the-box ideas. 8. No age barrier Unlike jobs, entrepreneurship comes with another significant relaxation i.e. no age barrier. There is no age barrier to entrepreneurship. You can become an entrepreneur whenever you feel you are ready for it. In this digitalized world, online businesses are evolving each day. Many people wish to become an entrepreneur at a very young age; some straight out of school, some after completing college, and some while pursuing it as well. 9. A healthy routine and lifestyle This is one of the prominent reasons why many people shift towards entrepreneurship. After nurturing your business properly, you can live the way you want, especially when you know that your business is doing well. As you say goodbyes to hectic schedules, you can create a fitness routine and stick to it. 10. Contribution to Society As entrepreneurship is all about creating products and services, you can surely contribute to society by innovating new and improved products. New offerings, products, or technologies enable new markets to be developed and new wealth to be created. Entrepreneurship is all about creating something new and appealing. When entrepreneurs introduce any product or service that is genuinely appealing and provide real-world environmental solutions, their ideas get traction from a wider audience. So, pull up your socks and get ready to enter into the world of entrepreneurship but don’t forget to wear different hats because starting a business is not an easy job and you need to put your heart and soul into running your business. It’s time to live your dreams and turn them into a reality. It’s time to be prepared for a new exciting joy. Don’t forget what Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, the founder of Biocon Limited said “An entrepreneur’s life is always a continuous journey. Entrepreneurship is about being able to face failure, manage failure and succeed after failing.”

6. You become an innovator You must have heard that “An entrepreneur is someone who is willing and able to transform an invention into an innovation.” As an entrepreneur with aptitude, perseverance, and

Back in 2015, I met with an accident and had a sore eye. As we know in India, everybody is a doctor. Someone suggested that I put a brewed but lukewarm green tea bag on my eyes to reduce the puffiness. To my surprise, the puffiness actually went away. I did a bit of research and found out that the caffeine in the green tea had an amazing effect on my swollen eye. Thus, began the story of mCaffeine. TARUN SHARMA

affeine is a natural stimulant that comes with various health benefits. Tarun Sharma, the Co-founder, and CEO of the company realized the importance of caffeine especially in the lives of millennials. And finally, the seeds of mCaffeine were sowed in 2016. mCaffeine is India’s first caffeinated personal care brand with an exciting range of caffeinated products for young and aspiring millennials. mCaffeine says that they are addicted to gender equality, clean and sustainable living, and taking a stand against animal testing. mCaffeine has also been declared as cruelty-free and vegan by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). “At mCaffeine, since the moment we launched our first product, we have always been out to make a difference. Working towards that cause, we resolved to never test on animals, and now, we are officially certified by PETA as cruelty-free and vegan. This validation makes our belief and ethos more stronger,” said Tarun.

EVOLUTION OF THE COMPANY Vikas Lachhwani, the co-founder of the company, and Tarun met in Mumbai through a common friend in 2012. In 2015, they thought about starting a company. “We were leaving our previous roles and were wondering what to do next. We discussed several ideas and homed in on building a personal care brand,” says Tarun. When they researched more they got to know that caffeine is very nourishing for the skin. They roped in consultants to begin creating caffeine-based shampoos. They eventually found themselves a manufacturer after results showed that their product can be marketed. Both of them spent the next 4 months meeting 12 manufacturing firms across India before they zeroed in on one in Ahmedabad. They chose the vendor and because he understood how the formulation of caffeine would be manufactured, the company was named MCaffeine. In the first month, the company didn’t record many sales but remained committed to the concept. Gradually, the products began to gain popularity.

COMPANY’S PRODUCTS

mCaffeine offers a wide range of body care (scrub, polishing oil, lotion, and

cream), face care (face wash, scrub, mask, serum, moisturizer, under-eye cream, and night gel), night care, hair care products (oil, scrub, and shampoo) and face tools (caffeinating eye mask, jade roller face massager and gua sha green quartz).

FOREST

CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION

THROUGH A BUSINESS LENS

O

wing to interconnected crises of nature loss and climate change, investing in forest conservation and restoration can surely benefit businesses. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy is in talks right now as it can be an effective tool in protecting the environment. With the focus on ESG data by financial institutions and businesses, there could not have been a better tool to ensure forests and ecosystem conservation and restoration. But why forward-looking businesses and companies should come forward and invest in forest conservation and restoration? Let’s find out the answer to this bigger question through the insights presented by World Economic Forum.

The report highlights that “The financial risks to businesses posed by climate change and the destruction of nature are severe, and investing in forest conservation and restoration is a cost-effective way to build resilience to these risks. The economic value of forests is vast – one estimate suggests that the total value of intact forests is up to $150 trillion, around double the value of global stock markets.” Therefore, it is very clear and obvious to say that forest conservation and restoration can offer opportunities for business growth and profitability.

According to World Economic Forum report, “Businesses are under increasing pressure from governments, consumers, and investors to avoid, reduce and mitigate their carbon emissions and reduce their impact on nature and biodiversity. Many businesses are directly vulnerable to the effects of nature loss and climate change. $44 trillion of economic value generation is dependent on nature and its services. Halting business practices that contribute to nature and forest loss and climate change is a vital priority.” It is becoming the need of the hour to conserve and restore forests to safeguard business interests and reverse the damage caused to the natural environment. We all know investing in forests will eventually protect and restore the essential biodiversity and ecosystem services that societies and economies depend on.

Under business resilience opportunities, the report mentions how forest conversation and restoration can lead to the following:

WEF further elaborated on this concept and explained that investing in forest conservation and restoration can create short-, medium- and long-term value for businesses in three ways: 1. By boosting business resilience against risks; 2. By creating growth and profitability opportunities; and 3. By improving business positioning through values-based leadership

36 | TheGlobalHues | Vol. 1

| Issue 12 | August 2021

Let’s take a closer look at all the three ways:

1. Business Resilience Opportunities

1.1 Reduced Supply Risks According to the report, “Investing in forest conservation and restoration can protect business operations and value chains against the loss of natural capital and physical effects of climate change. The future success of many businesses is also dependent on the continued supply of forest products or ecosystem services.” If businesses invest in forests it can be fruitful to them as forest act as a vast carbon sink and offer protection from the physical impacts of climate change. To cite an example, mangrove forests are estimated to reduce property damage by more than $65 billion every year by blocking storm surges and reducing the intensity of waves. 1.2 Reduced Demand Risks Nowadays, consumers have started prioritizing sustainability in their purchasing decisions, with 79% of consumers across Europe, the US, and India changing their preferences towards a particular product based on social responsibility and environmental impact. This is high time for businesses to embrace

this opportunity by investing in forests conversation. To cite an example, tentree, a sustainable apparel brand, has committed to growing 10 trees for every item that it sells, accounting for these costs in the product pricing. 1.3 Reduced regulatory risks Governments of different countries are setting agendas for action on nature loss and forest restoration, with countries negotiating the adoption of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. Infact, some countries have already passed legislation to protect and conserve natural ecosystems, in line with a global target to protect 30% of the planet by the year 2030. For instance, France has already established a duty-of-care law that requires businesses to include environmental assessments in their value chains. 1.4 Reduced capital risks Investment in forest conversation can also prove beneficial for businesses as it can help them to stay ahead of shifting investment policies and ensure continued access to capital. Fortunately, more than 540 investors, representing over $52 trillion in assets across dozens of markets, have signed up to Climate Action 100+, an investorled initiative to engage high-emission businesses. For example, the report mentions, ASN Bank has committed to having a net positive effect on biodiversity by 2030 through its loans and investments.

ISSUE SPECIFIC 2. Business Profitability and growth opportunities

Businesses can indirectly earn more business profits by strengthening their sustainability strategies through forest conservation. 2.1 Increased Profitability Profits are undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of any business. Investing in forest conversation can surprisingly lead to increased profitability through lower costs of capital and equity and increased customer loyalty driven by sustainability. For instance, the report mentions “Research by Bank of America found that businesses with a better environmental social governance (ESG) record produced higher three-year returns, were more likely to become high-quality stocks, were less likely to have large price declines and were less likely to go bankrupt”. 2.2 Increased Growth Growth is another significant aspect to discuss. Businesses can definitely capture new market opportunities if they expand their product ranges to include sustainably sourced forest products. For example, sustainable forest management for timber, pulp and paper products could create $165 billion in additional annual revenue by 2030.

3. Values Based leadership opportunities

Forest conversation can support businesses and companies to become industry leaders in sustainability and consolidate relationships with customers, employees, and their partners. 3.1 Increased customer trust Customer trust is vital for the success of any business. Investing in forests can help tap on that too. WEF report mentions that “By investing in forest conservation and restoration, businesses can build customer trust and engage customers to act more sustainably. For example, the Priceless Planet Coalition, launched by Mastercard and other founding partners, has pledged to grow trees when customers make financial transactions with selected partners, such as for public transport and when using their Mastercard for travel, goods, and services.” 3.2 Improved talent attraction and retention Another valuable advantage is improved talent attraction. As millennials and Gen Z have started prioritizing a business’s sustainability commitments when deciding where to work, investing in forests can support businesses to gain a hiring advantage. For example, HP recently partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to grow a tree for each of HP’s 55,000 employees, as part of its target to grow 1 million trees by the end of 2020. 3.3 Improved relationship with business and ecosystem partners What’s better than an investment that helps a business in building stronger relationships with their business and ecosystem partners, including the communities where they operate. Forest conversation and restoration activities can surely help businesses transform their relationships with leading partners beyond any financial transaction. The report mentions an example: Nestlé has worked in partnership with its cocoa suppliers to protect and restore the Cavally forest reserve in Côte d’Ivoire and enhance the resilience of local communities. BUSINESS

SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTING BRINGING A POSITIVE SOCIETAL CHANGE In the contemporary era, investors want a portfolio with a purpose. They now plan to invest with integrity and support businesses that make the world a better place.

T

he MagnifyMoney research shows that 67% of individual investors think they have a responsibility to put money towards companies that have a positive impact around the world.

Some of the key findings of the MagnifyMoney survey are: 01. Investors want their moral and ethical values to show in their portfolios. The survey highlights more than half (51%) of investors avoid investing in at least one company (tobacco, private prisons and oil top the list). Two-thirds (67%) of individual investors think that they have a responsibility to put their money in businesses that will make the world a better place.

The investors avoid investing in: zz Tobacco Companies zz Private prisons zz Oil companies zz Weapons manufacturers

48 | TheGlobalHues | Vol. 1

| Issue 12 | August 2021

02. Gen Zers are most selective to avoid companies they deem unethical, according to the report. It mentions that nearly three-quarters (73%) of Gen Z (ages 18 to 24) investors have avoided sinking money into companies for ethical reasons, compared with 56% of millennials, 48% of Gen Xers, and 39% of baby boomers.

01. Mutual Funds and Exchange Traded Funds An investor can invest in either of the two funds as Several mutual funds and ETFs adhere to the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria. 02. Community Investments An investor can also put their money directly into projects that benefit communities thereby contributing to community development financial institutions (CDFIs). 03. Microfinance Another way is microfinance or small loans to startups in which individuals can make socially sound investments.

A Brief History

SRI approach may have started in the 1700s with Quakers, a group of individuals who were part of the Religious Society of Friends. The group refused to participate in the slave trade i.e. the business of buying and selling human beings. 03. The report clearly highlights that as much as investors want to ignore the lure of a lucrative (but not socially responsible) investment, money is still a driver, leading to some cognitive dissonance. For example, 32% of investors say that they feel guilty investing in certain stocks but they do so anyway, and the same percentage say they currently invest in a company they’d be embarrassed for others to know about. 04. Consumers say morals and ethics play a big role in their investing decisions, but most find dollar signs hard to ignore. Although 65% of investors say they’re willing to sacrifice a higher return for a better impact, 67% would opt to invest in an oil company that offered double the return of a solar energy company. 05. The report also mentions that It’s hard to define what it truly means to be socially responsible, and investors want financial professionals to help. 70% think financial advisors or similar experts should warn consumers when investing in a company that doesn’t align with their values.

Another significant promoter of the SRI approach was John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement. Wesley urged his followers to stop profiting at the expense of their neighbors. John also asked his group to avoid any kind of participation in gambling and supporting industries, which used toxic materials or earned money through alcohol, tobacco, weapons, or gambling. These actions essentially led to the evolution of social investment screens.

What is Socially Responsible Investing?

Socially responsible investing is becoming very popular nowadays. SRI is an investing strategy that aims to generate both financial returns for an investor as well as social change. It involves investing in companies that are involved in things like environmental sustainability, alternative energy, or clean technology and eschewing those that conflict with the personal values. SRI can also be known as values-based investing, sustainable investing, and ethical investing. Because of increasing global warming and climate change, socially responsible investing has trended. Socially responsible Investments avoid harmful industries such as coal mining due to the negative environmental impact of their business practices.

Types of Socially Responsible Investments

There are three different types of Socially Responsible Investments namely:

Although socially responsible investing started as a simple practice in religious communities and societies, it has evolved to become a mainstream activity now. In fact, considering the damage already done to the environment, SRI is gaining a lot of popularity. SRI approach is the need of the hour. With an aim to achieve financial gain and environmental goals, SRI can surely help in making a positive change in society. rom acne to pimples, yoga can keep skincare woes at bay. Every person faces skincare issues but does not find solutions very easily. When Choudhary sisters faced the similar issue they thought of establishing their own brand that can solve the issues of all the people facing skincare problems. And that’s how SkinYoga was born.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

SkinYoga was founded in 2013 by three sisters, Radhika Choudhary, Jagriti Choudhary, and Deepika Choudhary. SkinYoga is a beauty brand based in Ahmedabad. The idea of SkinYoga came when Choudhary sisters moved to different parts of the world for studies where they struggled to find 100% natural products and realized their importance. This struggle prompted them to do a survey asking friends and classmates whether they would be interested in buying natural products. The results of the survey came in their favor. Following this, the Choudhary sisters started working on launching the brand with ample family support and some savings. Their promptness to launch modern products that draw from traditional approaches led to the launch of one of the best organic skincare brands, SkinYoga. The sisters control everything from sourcing to research to formulation and manufacturing. They have one aim in mind: to make every household and vanity bag chemical and paraben-free. They believe that there is a dire need for businesses today to contribute to the changing mindset of people who want to live a natural lifestyle.

TOP 5 PRANAYAMA

EXERCISES FOR ALL ENTREPRENEURS TO DECLUTTER THEIR MIND

B

reathing is the most important part of Yoga. Ability to practice mindful breathing can be a blessing as it helps you stay fit physically and mentally. Practice the following Pranayama exercises to declutter your mind:

1) BHASTRIKA PRANAYAMA zz This breathing routine is also known as ‘Breath of Fire’ zz Start by sitting upright in a straight posture with your legs crossed. zz Keep your neck and shoulders relaxed and calm. zz Take a deep breath through your nose to fill your lungs with fresh air. zz Now, exhale forcefully along with releasing a hissing sound. zz Do this for about 5 minutes or 21 times and try to practice this twice a day.

2) SIMHASANA

4) MRIGI MUDRA PRANAYAMA

zz This breathing practice is also known as ‘Lion’s Breath’

zz This breathing practice is also known as ‘Deer Seal Breathing’

zz Start by kneeling on the floor with your arms placed gently on your knees and your ankles crossed.

zz Mrigi mudra is basically how you hold your fingers. So, curl your middle finger and index finger and press them towards the base of your thumb.

zz Your feet should be pointing out. zz Now, try to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth by opening your mouth wide and sticking out your tongue wide. Your tongue should be towards your chin. zz While exhaling, make a ‘ha’ sound and one must do this a couple of times and then relax.

zz Keep your other fingers stretched. Use your right hand for the mudra if you are a right-handed person and your left hand if you are a left-hander. zz Sit in padmasana and make sure your back, shoulder, and neck are in a straight line. If you are a right-handed person and have used your right hand for the mudra, bring your right hand near your nose, and with the help of your pinky to close your left nostril. zz Inhale from the right then close your right nostril with the thumb to release from the left nostril. Try doing this about five times and then relax.

3) KUMBHAKA PRANAYAMA zz This practice is also referred to as ‘Breath Retention’ which is also its literal meaning. zz Sit in the padmasana position by keeping your hands on your knees. zz Keep your spine and shoulders relaxed but straight in an upright position. zz Inhale and exhale normally for a couple of times and then, inhale, hold it in for as long as you can, and exhale. zz Increase the time you retain the air inside your lungs gradually.

5) KAPALABHATI PRANAYAMA zz This breathing exercise is also known as ‘skull shining’ zz Sit in padmasana or in a comfortable cross-legged position. zz Maintain your spine, shoulders, and neck in a straight line. zz Keep your palms gently on your knees. zz Take a deep breath and release it out with a short contraction of your abdomen muscles. zz Try to do at least five exhalations for a single inhalation. Gradually, increase it to 10 exhalations per one inhalation.

2. BUGATTI LA VOITURE NOIRE: $18,700,000

In the year 2019, Bugatti made an excellent branding decision by blessing the world with their latest supercar. Without any flashy introduction and name geared to thrill, the French manufacturer chose a restrained, minimalistic, and instantly iconic title: La Voiture Noire, which turns head since its release. What makes this car unique is its carbonfiber shell that’s sculpted by hand, a quad-turbo W16 8.10L engine that produces 1500 horsepower, and an acceleration of 0-100kph (0-60mph) in 2.4 seconds. In the year 2019, it was claimed to be the most expensive new car available for purchase. Two years have passed, and no one has yet released an expensive luxury car geared to knock La Voiture Noire off that high pedestal. Undoubtedly this beauty has proved its worth to be one of the most Luxurious cars in 2021!

4. BUGATTI CENTODIECI: $9,000,000

3. PAGANI ZONDA HP BARCHETTA: $17,600,000

The Zonda was the first-ever car out that was launched by the Pagani Automobili auto house. Years ago, production should have ended, favoring the Huayra; instead, Pagani has since then come out with many different special editions of the Zonda. The most beautiful Zonda HP Barchetta was thus named – Barchetta – because, to Horatio Pagani, that’s what it looked like: in Italian, a ‘little boat’. The frame and structure of this car are entirely formed of carbon fiber for an ultralight body. It has a minimized windshield, and it stands only some 21 inches tall (0.5 meters) at its tallest. Only three vehicles were ever made of this unique, specific version of the most gorgeous Zonda. When last sold, one of these vehicles got sold for $17.6M. As famously said, some luxury pieces are just limited editions but the Zonda HP Barchetta will continue to be a dream for many.

Bugatti’s 2021 Centodieci is one of the most exclusive and luxurious cars ever made: Only ten of these luxurious hypercars will be sold. (All of these have found a happy buyer already, despite the extraordinary price.)

With this luxurious car, Bugatti pays homage and remembers their EB110 (or the ‘centodieci’), a supercar produced early in the ‘90s. That car didn’t quite have the timing to perform as it was hoped. However, the modern aesthetic of Bugatti’s 2021 Centodieci makes it one of the most luxurious cars ever.

5. BUGATTI DIVO: $6,000,000

Bugatti’s Chiron became so popular that the Divo, a car that has been made to closely follow it, has several similar features. However, the Divo is not just more exotic-looking but also much more exclusive. Only 40 Divos will be produced and sold. Each has already been spoken for. Its updates include a better suspension, a much lighter frame for increased speed, and a new dorsal fin. The blue and black aesthetic features of the Bugatti Divo have been a hit. We know that the above-mentioned cars have made you dream of having one too! Well, these four-wheeled wonders have created history by being the top 5 luxurious cars ever made!
