Known for their expertise in creating powerful and compact gaming hardware, Zotac promised a device that would redefine portable gaming. After spending weeks putting the ZONE through its paces, it’s clear that Zotac has delivered an exceptional product. They were kind enough to send us a review unit, and we’ve thoroughly tested it to bring you this detailed review.
The ZONE by Zotac is a marvel of modern engineering. Its sleek, ergonomic design feels great in the hands, with a weight that’s perfectly balanced for extended gaming sessions. The materials used are premium, with a mix of highquality plastic and metal that exudes durability. The buttons and joysticks are responsive and tactile, providing a satisfying gaming experience. The 7-inch Full HD display is vibrant and sharp, making games look stunning on the go.
Under the hood, the ZONE is powered by a custombuilt CPU and GPU combo, which is nothing short of impressive. We tested a range of games to gauge its performance.
The ZONE is equipped with a high-performance, multi-core processor that ensures smooth multitasking and efficient handling of modern game engines. The custom GPU is optimized for power efficiency and high frame rates, capable of handling graphically intense games with ease.
One of the critical aspects of any gaming device is its thermal management, and the ZONE excels in this department. It features an advanced cooling system that includes a combination of heat pipes, vapor chambers, and strategically placed vents.
During our extensive gaming sessions, the device remained comfortably cool to the touch, even under heavy loads. The fan noise is minimal and unobtrusive, ensuring an immersive gaming experience without distraction.
We put the ZONE through its paces with a variety of games, from AAA titles to indie gems, to get a comprehensive view of its performance:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - At high settings, the ZONE maintained a steady 45-50 fps. The game’s richly detailed environments and complex character models were rendered beautifully, with minimal stuttering or frame drops even in dense urban areas like Novigrad.
Doom Eternal: This fast-paced shooter ran at a smooth 60 fps on medium settings. The ZONE handled the frenetic action and rapid movements exceptionally well, providing a fluid and responsive experience. The graphics were sharp, and the vivid, dynamic lighting effects were particularly impressive.
Cyberpunk 2077: Known for its demanding graphics, Cyberpunk 2077 was tested at medium settings, achieving around 40-45 fps. The neon-lit cityscapes and detailed character models were rendered with great fidelity. There were minor frame rate dips during highly populated scenes, but the overall experience was stable and visually stunning.
Hades: This popular indie title ran flawlessly at 60 fps on the highest settings. The colorful, handdrawn art style of Hades was displayed with impeccable clarity, and the responsive controls made navigating the underworld a delight.
Fortnite: With medium to high settings, Fortnite maintained a solid 55-60 fps. The ZONE’s performance was more than adequate for this competitive title, allowing for precise aiming and smooth movement, crucial for gaining an edge in intense battles.
One of the standout features of the ZONE is its impressive battery life. During our tests, we averaged around 5-6 hours of gaming on a single charge, which is commendable for a device packing this much power. Charging is quick too, with the device going from 0% to 100% in just under 2 hours.
The ZONE features an impressive audio system for a handheld device. The built-in speakers produce clear and immersive sound, with a good balance of bass and treble. For an even better experience, the device supports high-resolution audio through its 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of connectivity, the ZONE offers a comprehensive range of options. It includes USB-C ports for charging and data transfer, a microSD slot for expandable storage, and Wi-Fi 6 for fast and stable wireless connections. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.0 ensures compatibility with a wide array of peripherals, from headphones to game controllers.
The ZONE runs on a customized version of Windows, providing a familiar yet optimized interface for gaming. The pre-installed Zotac Gaming Hub allows for easy game management and system monitoring. We encountered no significant software issues, and the overall user experience was smooth and intuitive.
The user interface (UI) of the ZONE is a blend of practicality and elegance. The customized version of Windows 10 is optimized for touchscreen and controller navigation, ensuring that users can seamlessly switch between different modes of input. The interface is intuitive, with easy access
to the main functions and settings.
Zotac Gaming Hub - One of the standout features is the Zotac Gaming Hub, an all-in-one application that simplifies game management, system monitoring, and performance tuning. The app provides real-time performance metrics, such as CPU and GPU usage, temperature, and frame rates. It also allows users to customize game profiles, adjust settings, and optimize performance with a single click.
Customization and Personalization - The ZONE offers a high degree of customization, allowing users to tailor the device to their preferences. The home screen can be personalized with different themes, wallpapers, and shortcuts to frequently used apps. Additionally, the device supports a wide range of gaming accessories, such as external controllers, keyboards, and mice, providing a versatile gaming experience.
Navigation and Responsiveness - Navigating the UI is smooth and responsive, with minimal lag or stuttering. The touchscreen is highly responsive to inputs, and the on-screen keyboard is easy to use for quick searches or messages. The physical controls are well-integrated, allowing users to switch between games and apps effortlessly.
Accessibility Features - Zotac has also paid attention to accessibility, incorporating features such as customizable button mappings, screen magnifiers, and text-to-speech options. These features ensure that the ZONE is user-friendly and accessible to a wide range of gamers, including those with disabilities.
Overall Experience - The combination of an optimized Windows interface, powerful hardware, and thoughtful software enhancements makes the user experience on the ZONE truly exceptional. Whether you’re launching a game, tweaking performance settings, or simply browsing the web, the device delivers a smooth and enjoyable experience.
At a price point of £699, the ZONE by Zotac offers excellent value for money. It’s a premium product, but considering the performance and build quality, it justifies its price tag.
For serious gamers looking for a portable powerhouse, the ZONE is a worthy investment.
Zotac has truly outdone themselves with the ZONE. It’s a device that combines high performance, stellar build quality, and exceptional value. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or someone who enjoys occasional gaming on the go, the ZONE is sure to impress. We extend our gratitude to Zotac for providing us with the review unit, and we highly

Our wonderful friends over at PICO sent over their PICO 4 Ultra NDS Motion Tracker to review for our wonderful readers. Having reviewed VRs before from the Meta Quest and PSVR range it was wonderful to dive into something new and premium of course. If you too were unfamiliar with PICO then let us introduce you to them below before we dive into the PICO 4 Ultra and Motion Tracker.
PICO Interactive, founded in 2015, has quickly become a noteworthy player in the virtual reality (VR) industry. Based in Beijing, China, the company focuses on creating innovative VR hardware and software solutions for both consumers and businesses. PICO’s mission is to push the boundaries of VR technology, making immersive experiences more accessible and enjoyable. The PICO 4 Ultra is their latest offering, aimed at delivering a powerful and user-friendly VR experience.
The PICO 4 Ultra is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chipset, providing exceptional performance for demanding VR applications. With 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, the headset offers ample space and speed for games, apps, and media. The design is sleek and intuitive, ensuring ease of use right out of the box. The lightweight structure and adjustable straps enhance comfort, allowing for extended use without fatigue. However, the absence of a silicon facial interface in the box detracts slightly from the overall comfort.
The high-resolution display of the PICO 4 Ultra
provides sharp and vibrant visuals, greatly enhancing the immersive experience. The wide field of view reduces the feeling of tunnel vision, allowing users to fully engage with their virtual environment. Low latency ensures smooth and responsive gameplay, crucial for an enjoyable VR experience. Light leakage, particularly for glasses wearers, and a slight screen door effect are minor drawbacks that prevent a perfect score.
The audio system includes built-in speakers that deliver decent sound quality, and support for spatial audio enhances immersion by providing directional sound cues. For users who prefer a more personalized audio experience, the 3.5mm audio jack allows for the use of external headphones. While satisfactory for most users, the audio quality may not meet the expectations of audiophiles, and there are limited customization options for audio settings.
The PICO 4 Ultra’s mixed reality capabilities allow for a seamless blend of virtual and real-world environments, useful for applications requiring spatial awareness such as architectural visualization and interactive educational tools. While innovative, these features are still in development and may require further refinement to reach their full potential.
Comfort and usability are prioritized in the design of the PICO 4 Ultra. The lightweight headset minimizes fatigue, and the adjustable straps ensure a secure and personalized fit. Balanced weight distribution further enhances comfort during extended use. However, the lack of a silicon facial interface means that additional purchases may be necessary for maximum comfort.
The PICO app store offers a wide range of apps and games, but it lacks major exclusives and highprofile games that could attract more users. The curation of available apps could be improved for a more user-friendly experience. Regular software updates improve performance and add new features, but overall software support and app curation remain areas for improvement.
While the PICO app store offers a decent selection of games, it lacks major exclusives that could elevate its appeal. The available games range from casual experiences to more intense and immersive titles, catering to a wide audience. However, the absence of high-profile exclusives means that PICO may struggle to attract hardcore gamers who seek the latest and most popular titles. The curation and discovery of games within the app store could also be improved to enhance the user experience.
The overall user experience with the PICO 4 Ultra is positive, thanks to its powerful hardware, intuitive design, and immersive visuals. The straightforward setup process and user-friendly interface make it accessible to beginners, while the advanced features cater to more experienced users. However, the lack of major software support and app curation can detract from the overall experience. The mixed reality capabilities add a unique layer of immersion, but they are still in development and may require further refinement.
The PICO 4 Ultra is priced competitively, making it an attractive option for those looking to enter the VR space without breaking the bank. At around £500, it offers a solid balance of performance, features, and affordability. While there are more
expensive headsets on the market that offer premium features, the PICO 4 Ultra provides a comprehensive VR experience that is accessible to a wider audience. The price point, combined with its robust hardware and innovative features, makes it a compelling choice for both beginners and seasoned VR enthusiasts.
The PICO Motion Tracker provides full-body tracking capabilities with 12 infrared sensors and an IMU sensor, ensuring precise tracking of body movements. The lightweight and modular design makes it comfortable to wear and easy to adjust for a secure fit. The tracker performs impressively, enhancing applications that require precise motion tracking such as fitness apps and dance games. Its long battery life of up to 25 hours allows for extended usage without frequent recharging.
When paired with the PICO 4 Ultra, the Motion Tracker significantly enhances the overall VR experience by adding accurate and responsive full-body tracking. This integration is particularly beneficial for applications that require precise motion tracking, making interactions more realistic and engaging. The setup and calibration process is straightforward, ensuring seamless integration with the PICO 4 Ultra.
Currently, the PICO Motion Tracker is only available in China, which limits its global adoption. Additionally, not all apps support fullbody tracking, which restricts the tracker’s utility. Developers will need to incorporate support for the tracker to fully realize its potential. Despite these limitations, the PICO Motion Tracker offers a cost-effective solution for full-body tracking, making it an attractive accessory for PICO VR enthusiasts.
The PICO Motion Tracker is priced at around £79.99, making it an affordable option for those looking to enhance their VR experience with fullbody tracking. While it adds significant value to
the overall VR setup, its limited availability and app support are factors to consider. For users in regions where it is available, the price point combined with its performance and features makes it a worthwhile investment.
The PICO 4 Ultra and the PICO Motion Tracker together create a compelling VR package. The powerful hardware, high-resolution display, and mixed reality features of the PICO 4 Ultra, combined with the full-body tracking capabilities of the PICO Motion Tracker, offer an immersive and responsive VR experience.
However, the lack of major software support and the limited availability of the tracker are significant drawbacks that PICO will need to address to solidify its position in the market.
Overall, the PICO 4 Ultra and PICO Motion Tracker represent a promising step forward in the VR industry, offering innovative features and impressive performance at a competitive price. As the VR ecosystem continues to evolve, PICO’s commitment to innovation and user experience will be crucial in shaping the future of virtual reality.
Now it is very much true that you get what you pay for and in this case, it is just that with a premium price tag you sure do get premium features, but we would love more app integration which I expect is coming soon. If you too want to secure a PICO 4 Ultra, then head on below and check out their site or some of their other products too in hopes to find the perfect VR experience for you.

However it is worth noting Neewer often promotes coupons and currently this is 40% off in the US and 25% off in the UK! which is an absolute steal for such a great product.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
• Versatile RGB lighting with a wide range of colour options.
• High illuminance ensures a well-lit streaming area.
• User-friendly interface with the Neewer Live app.
• Compatibility with Elgato Stream Deck for seamless control.
• Mobile app and PC control for flexibility in adjusting settings.
• Durable and sleek design with an aluminium frame.
• Affordable price for the features and performance offered.
Cons:
• The initial setup may require some trial and error for optimal positioning.
• Some users may find the app interface overwhelming with numerous settings and options.
• While the price is competitive, it still represents a significant investment for beginners.
In conclusion, the Neewer GL1C RGB LED Streaming Light is a standout product in the realm of streaming and gaming lighting solutions. Its robust design, extensive features, and userfriendly interface make it an excellent choice for content creators of all levels. I would give the Neewer GL1C a solid 9 out of 10 for its overall performance and value. The Neewer GL1C scores a 9/10 instead of a perfect 10/10 due to a few minor areas where there is room for improvement:
• Power Supply Flexibility: While the GL1C offers excellent brightness and color control, it does not come with an internal battery. Users need to rely on external power sources. Including a built-in rechargeable battery would make the light more versatile and portable for content creators on the move.
• Additional Accessories: Although the GL1C provides excellent lighting quality, additional accessories like barn doors, colored gels, or diffusers could further enhance its utility and versatility.
• Remote Control Options: While the GL1C is compatible with various control options, including software and Stream Deck integration, a dedicated physical remote control would add convenience for users who prefer tactile adjustments or need
to make quick changes during live sessions.
• Price Point: At $199.99, the GL1C offers excellent value, but for beginners or hobbyists, it might still represent a significant investment. More budget-friendly alternatives or bundled packages could make it more accessible to a broader audience.
Overall, the Neewer GL1C is an outstanding product that delivers exceptional performance and value. The areas mentioned are minor and
don’t significantly detract from its overall quality, but addressing them could elevate the GL1C to a perfect score.
Thank you once again, Neewer, for providing this fantastic lighting solution for review. I look forward to seeing how it enhances the streaming experiences of many content creators.

Our wonderful friends over at Corsair have hooked us up with some of their great keyboards which we will review individually and compare between the two for you all.
Corsair is a name synonymous with highperformance gaming peripherals, and their latest offering, the TKL Pro Keyboard with PBT DoubleShot Keycaps in White, is no exception. Corsair has consistently delivered top-tier products that cater to the needs of competitive gamers and enthusiasts alike. I would like to extend my gratitude to Corsair for providing this keyboard for review.
The Corsair TKL Pro Keyboard is a tenkeyless (TKL) design, meaning it omits the numeric keypad to save space while retaining all essential keys. The keyboard is built with a sturdy aluminium frame, giving it a premium feel and ensuring durability. The white colour scheme, combined with the sleek design, makes it a stylish addition to any gaming setup.
The standout feature of this keyboard is the PBT double-shot keycaps. PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) keycaps are known for their durability and resistance to wear, making them ideal for long-term use. The double-shot moulding process ensures that the legends are embedded within the keycaps, preventing them from fading over time. Typing on these keycaps is a delight, with a smooth and responsive feel that enhances the overall typing experience.
At the heart of the TKL Pro Keyboard are Corsair’s MGX Hyperdrive magnetic switches. These
switches employ Hall Effect sensors for ultra-fast input activation, with a polling rate of 8,000Hz, ensuring that every keystroke is registered with minimal latency. The switches are pre-lubricated for a smooth and consistent typing experience, and they are rated for up to 150 million keystrokes.
One of the standout features of the TKL Pro Keyboard is its adjustable actuation distance. Users can customize the actuation point from 0.1mm to 4.0mm, allowing for precise control over keypresses. This feature is particularly beneficial for gamers who require quick and accurate keystrokes.
In my experience, the Corsair TKL Pro Keyboard has been a game-changer for both my typing and gaming needs. The build quality is immediately noticeable, with a solid and weighty feel that speaks to its durability.
The PBT double-shot keycaps are a joy to type on, providing a smooth and tactile experience that has significantly improved my typing speed and accuracy.
When it comes to gaming, the Corsair TKL Pro Keyboard truly excels. The MGX Hyperdrive magnetic switches are incredibly responsive, ensuring that every keystroke is registered instantly. This responsiveness is crucial in fastpaced games where split-second decisions can make all the difference. The adjustable actuation distance is a fantastic feature, allowing me to finetune the keyboard to my preferences for different types of games.
In competitive shooters, the low actuation point provides an edge, allowing for quicker inputs and reducing the chances of missed keypresses. In strategy games, adjusting the actuation point higher helps prevent accidental keypresses, providing a more controlled and deliberate gaming experience.
Corsair’s iCUE software is a powerful tool for customizing the keyboard. Users can create custom profiles, assign macros, and adjust RGB lighting to match their preferences. The software also allows for on-the-fly adjustments, making it easy to switch between different settings without interrupting gameplay. The iCUE software’s integration with other Corsair devices enables a unified and synchronized lighting setup, creating a visually cohesive gaming environment.
The TKL Pro Keyboard features vibrant RGB lighting that can be customized through the iCUE software. The per-key RGB illumination allows for a wide range of lighting effects and animations, enabling users to personalize their keyboard to match their gaming setup or personal style. The lighting is bright and evenly distributed, ensuring that the key legends are clearly visible even in lowlight conditions.
One of the most convenient aspects of the Corsair TKL Pro Keyboard is its controllability via both a mobile app and PC. The Corsair iCUE app, available for iOS and Android, offers a comprehensive suite of controls, allowing users to adjust brightness, colour temperature, and RGB settings on the fly. The app’s interface is intuitive, with clearly labelled buttons and sliders, making it easy for users to navigate and customize their lighting setup.

This functionality is particularly useful for streamers who want to make real-time adjustments without having to switch between devices. The PC control interface mirrors the features of the mobile app, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience across all platforms.
The Corsair TKL Pro Keyboard includes a detachable magnetic wrist rest, providing
additional comfort during extended gaming sessions. The wrist rest is padded and covered with a soft-touch material, offering ample support to reduce wrist strain. The TKL form factor also promotes a more ergonomic typing posture by allowing users to position their mouse closer to the keyboard, reducing the need for excessive arm movements.
The keyboard’s aluminium frame not only adds to its premium aesthetic but also enhances its durability. The frame is resistant to flex and wear, ensuring that the keyboard remains sturdy even with heavy use. The PBT doubleshot keycaps are also highly durable, with the legends remaining intact and resistant to shine over extended periods of use.

The Shure SM7dB is the latest iteration of the iconic SM7 series, celebrated for its robust build and exceptional sound quality. Building on the legacy of the SM7B, the SM7dB introduces a builtin preamp, offering up to +28dB of gain, making it more accessible for users with entry-level audio interfaces. This microphone is geared towards podcasters, streamers, and voice-over artists who seek professional-grade audio without the need for additional equipment.
The SM7dB retains the classic design of its predecessors, featuring a sturdy all-metal construction and an adjustable yoke for easy positioning. The microphone’s weight, a result of its robust build, ensures stability during use. The yoke design allows for flexible placement on
mic stands or boom arms, making it versatile for various recording setups. Its matte black finish not only exudes professionalism but also adds a touch of elegance to any studio setup. The build quality is top-notch, with every component meticulously crafted to withstand the rigors of daily use, whether in a professional studio or a home recording environment.
The SM7dB’s standout feature is its builtin preamp, which provides additional gain to overcome the limitations of entry-level audio interfaces. This feature simplifies the recording process by eliminating the need for external preamps, ensuring optimal sound levels without background hiss. The microphone’s cardioid polar pattern effectively isolates the sound source, minimizing background noise and making it ideal for home studios and professional recording environments.
The SM7dB retains the same sonic characteristics as the SM7B, offering a warm, smooth audio quality that has made the SM7 series a staple in studios worldwide. The selectable onboard boost of +18 or +28dB allows users to tailor the microphone’s output to their specific needs.
This flexibility makes the SM7dB a compelling option for those upgrading from the SM7B or exploring professional microphones for the first time. The SM7dB also features advanced electromagnetic shielding to reject hum from computer monitors, neon lights, and other
electrical sources, ensuring a clean and interference-free recording. Additionally, the microphone includes a detachable windscreen, which provides protection against plosive sounds and enhances vocal clarity.
The SM7dB offers both XLR and USB connectivity, providing flexibility for various recording setups. The microphone’s all-metal construction ensures it can withstand the rigors of daily use, whether in a professional studio or a home recording environment. The robust build quality is complemented by high-quality components, including a shock mount that reduces mechanical noise and vibration. This attention to durability ensures that the SM7dB will provide reliable performance for years to come.
The SM7dB comes with a range of accessories to enhance the user experience. In addition to the detachable windscreen, the microphone includes a pop filter to further reduce plosive sounds and improve vocal clarity. The adjustable yoke mount allows for easy positioning and stability, ensuring the microphone stays in place during recording sessions. Catering to both amateurs and professionals, MOZA Racing’s products are designed to elevate the sim racing experience. The latest addition to their lineup, the R3 Bundle, is set to bring direct-drive technology to Xbox users at an accessible price point.
The MOZA Racing R3 Bundle stands out with its impressive design and robust build quality. The wheelbase, crafted from high-quality materials, exudes durability and a premium feel. The sleek design is complemented by a sturdy table clamp, which ensures stability even during the most intense force feedback sessions. The 280mm steering wheel, although slightly smaller than some competitors, offers a comfortable and ergonomic grip, making it suitable for extended racing sessions.
The SR-P Lite pedals included in the bundle offer a mix of strengths and limitations. Made entirely of metal, these pedals boast a premium feel compared to the plastic alternatives commonly found in this price range. Despite the absence of a clutch and the use of a hall effect sensor for the brake pedal, the pedals provide a solid and responsive experience. They are adjustable and can be hard-mounted, offering flexibility for various setups and ensuring a stable performance.
The 3.9Nm direct-drive wheelbase is the crown jewel of the R3 Bundle. It delivers smooth and quiet force feedback, outperforming many gearand belt-driven wheels within its price range. The wheelbase is user-friendly, with easy mounting facilitated by the included table clamp. Although the torque figure is lower than MOZA’s higher-end models, it still provides a highly satisfying driving

MOZA Racing’s software support for the R3 Bundle is robust and intuitive, allowing users to fine-tune their settings for an optimized racing experience. The MOZA Racing R3 Bundle, priced at approximately £389 which offers exceptional value for money. It brings advanced direct-drive technology to Xbox users without a hefty price tag. This competitive pricing strategy makes it an attractive option for a wide range of sim racing enthusiasts looking for an entry-level direct-drive wheel setup.
One of the standout features of the R3 Bundle is its seamless compatibility with Xbox consoles. The plug-and-play functionality means users can connect the bundle directly to their Xbox without needing additional adapters. Moreover, the R3 Bundle is designed with upgradability in mind, allowing users to enhance their setup with additional components in the future without having to replace the entire system.
Using the MOZA Racing R3 Bundle has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The high-quality and sturdy components immediately impress, providing confidence in their durability. The force feedback from the wheelbase is particularly noteworthy, offering a realistic and immersive racing experience. Despite the absence of a clutch, the pedals offer good resistance and responsiveness. The setup process was straightforward, and the software allowed for ample customization.
I had the opportunity to play a variety of racing games on Xbox with this bundle, including:
• Forza Horizon 5: The vibrant environments and responsive feedback made every race feel exhilarating.

experience that can be enhanced over time. MOZA Racing remains committed to delivering highquality sim racing equipment, and the R3 Bundle is a testament to this dedication.
Rating: 8.5/10
The MOZA Racing R3 Bundle scores an impressive 8.5 out of 10 for several reasons:
• Build Quality and Design (9/10): The build quality and design are exceptional, featuring durable materials and a premium feel. The slightly smaller steering wheel size might be a minor drawback for some users.
• Pedals (7/10): The SR-P Lite pedals, while robust and made of metal, lack a clutch and use a hall effect sensor for the brake pedal. This makes them less advanced compared to other options in the market that utilize load cell technology.
• Wheelbase Performance (8/10): The 3.9Nm direct-drive wheelbase provides smooth and quiet force feedback. However, the lower torque figure compared to MOZA’s higherend models may limit the experience for more serious sim racers.
• User Experience (9/10): The ease of setup and user-friendly software offer a great experience for beginners. The plug-and-play compatibility with Xbox consoles is a significant advantage.
• Price and Value (9/10): The bundle offers excellent value for money, making advanced direct-drive technology accessible to a broader audience. The competitive pricing makes it a great choice, although the lack of certain advanced features prevents it from achieving a perfect score.
The MOZA Racing R3 Bundle is a fantastic entrylevel option for Xbox sim racing enthusiasts, offering great performance and value with room for future upgrades. While it doesn’t achieve a perfect 10 due to some limitations, it remains a highly recommended choice in its category.
A special thank you to the team over at MOZA Racing for gifting us this product to produce this review feature. Their support made it possible to bring you this detailed and comprehensive review. This makes it perfect for capturing everything from extreme sports to serene landscapes.
Insta360 has not skimped on audio quality with the Ace Pro 2. Built-in microphones deliver clear, high-fidelity sound, and there’s support
for external mics if you need to capture professional-grade audio. Connectivity options are plentiful, with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB-C ensuring seamless file transfer and remotecontrol capabilities. Whether you’re live streaming your latest adventure or simply uploading content to your social media channels, the Ace Pro 2 has you covered.
Battery life is often a critical factor for action camera users, and the Ace Pro 2 doesn’t disappoint. Its 1,800mAh battery offers impressive longevity, and for those extended shooting sessions, the dual battery support ensures you won’t miss a moment.

It features a simple yet secure mechanism that allows for fast attachment and detachment, making it perfect for capturing spontaneous action shots without missing a beat.
This flexibility enhances its utility, allowing you to capture shots from virtually any angle.
Using the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 for content creation has been an absolute gamechanger. The camera’s versatility allowed me to seamlessly transition between different shooting environments, from dynamic outdoor scenes to controlled indoor settings. The quick release mount was particularly useful for rapidly switching between a tripod and handheld shots, enabling a variety of creative angles. The 4K video at 60fps provided crisp and detailed footage, while the FlowState stabilization ensured smooth and professional-looking videos, even when filming handheld or moving. The companion app’s editing tools streamlined my workflow, allowing for quick trims, colour corrections, and effects before sharing the content on social media. The reliable battery life and fast file transfer via Wi-Fi made the entire content creation process efficient and enjoyable.
One of the standout features of the Ace Pro 2 is its user-friendly interface. The 2.5-inch flip touchscreen is intuitive and responsive, making it easy to navigate through settings and review footage. The companion app adds another layer of convenience, allowing users to control the camera remotely and access a range of editing tools. Even for those new to action cameras, the Ace Pro 2 offers a smooth and accessible user experience.

The rugged construction ensures it can handle the bumps and scrapes of extreme sports, giving users peace of mind that their camera will survive even the most demanding conditions.
The Insta360 app provides robust editing capabilities, allowing users to enhance their footage with ease. From simple trims and cuts to advanced color correction and effects, the app offers a suite of tools to transform raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos. The intuitive interface makes the editing process straightforward, even for those with limited experience.
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is competitively priced at $399.99 USD (approximately £389 GBP). Given its advanced features and performance, this price point positions it well against other premium action cameras on the market.
In conclusion, the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is a powerhouse action camera that excels in almost every aspect. Its video quality, stabilization, and rugged design make it a standout choice for content creators and adventure enthusiasts alike. While the 8K recording feature is impressive, its practicality is somewhat limited due to large file sizes. However, the 4K capabilities and excellent low-light performance more than compensate for this minor drawback.
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 earns high marks for its impressive features and overall performance. It loses a point mainly for the absence of builtin storage and the limited utility of the 8K video feature. The lack of built-in storage means users need to rely on external storage solutions, which can be inconvenient in fast-paced shooting scenarios. Additionally, while the 8K video quality is stunning, it results in large file sizes that may be impractical for many users due to storage and processing constraints.
Despite these minor shortcomings, the Ace Pro 2 remains an outstanding choice for anyone looking to capture high-quality action footage.
A special thanks to Insta360 for gifting us this incredible product. Their generosity has allowed us to produce yet another great feature
and showcase the amazing capabilities of the Insta360 Ace Pro 2. We look forward to creating more stunning content alongside Insta360.

The dual motor system is one of the key features that set this desk apart. With two motors
working in tandem, the desk can be adjusted smoothly and quietly from 600 mm to 1250 mm. The desk’s cable management system is comprehensive, featuring metal trays, grommets, and a hinged rear section to facilitate the organization of cables. The metal tray runs along the back of the desk and is spacious enough to hold power strips and excess cables, ensuring they are neatly tucked away. Grommets on the desk surface provide entry points for cables, while the hinged rear section allows for easy access to the underside of the desk, making it simple to add or remove cables as needed.

Overall, the GT Omega Ergonomic Standing Dual Motor Desk is a highly recommended product for its exceptional build quality, smooth height adjustment, and convenient features. I would rate it a solid 9 out of 10 for its performance, design, and user satisfaction. While the desk excels in many areas, it falls just short of a perfect score due to its premium price point, which might be a consideration for budgetconscious users, and the need for assembly, which can be time-consuming for some.

The EufyCam S3 Pro typically comes in kits, with prices starting around £450 for a 2-camera kit and going up to £700 for a 4-camera kit. While the upfront cost is higher than some other security systems, the lack of ongoing subscription fees makes it a cost-effective solution in the long run.
• Creative Spaces: In creative spaces, such as studios or workshops, the EufyCam S3

Its high-quality video, advanced AI features, and no ongoing fees make it a compelling choice for those seeking a top-tier security system. Despite its higher price point, the performance and features justify the investment.
While the EufyCam S3 Pro excels in many areas, there are a few minor drawbacks that prevent it from achieving a perfect score:
• No Native HomeKit Support for 4K Video: Although the camera integrates well with
• Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, it lacks
• native support for Apple’s HomeKit for 4K video, which may be a drawback for users heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem.
• Higher Upfront Cost: The initial investment for the EufyCam S3 Pro is higher compared to some other security systems. While the lack of ongoing subscription fees mitigates this in the long run, the upfront cost may be a barrier for some users.
• Limited Cloud Storage Options: While local storage is a significant advantage for privacy, the limited cloud storage options may be a drawback for users who prefer cloud-based storage solutions.
These minor issues prevent the EufyCam S3 Pro from achieving a perfect 10, but they do not significantly detract from its overall performance and value. While the market is saturated with high performance mouse catering to right-handed gamers it is a great deal more difficult to find peripherals tailored to left-handed gamers who are looking to perform on the competitive stage. Thankfully Pulsar Gaming Gear stepped up with their range of left-handed specific and ambidextrous mice! Pulsar very kindly sent us their X2A v3 ulta lightweight esports mouse and their X3 LHD gaming mouse to check out. This review will only cover the X2A v3.
Not familiar with who Pulsar Gaming Gear are? Well here’s a little bit about them...
Pulsar Gaming Gears is a leading esports brand hailing from South Korea, the home of many incredible esports greats (Faker, the absolute GOAT?!). Their product range is designed to cater to the diverse needs of esports athletes, hardcore gamers, and gaming enthusiasts.
The X2A v3 is designed with peak performance and customisability in mind. The mouse has an ambidextrous and symmetrical design; sporting a low hump and a wide waist the X2A v3 ultra lightweight esports gaming mouse is perfect for a fingertip grip as well as a light claw grip.

Performance
The Pulsar X2A v3 is fantastic mouse, especially for FPS gaming. It’s also a good option for MMORPG gamers - it won’t beat dedicate MMO mice in terms of the amount of programmable buttons, but the X2A v3 has brilliant button customisation via the Pulsar Fusion Drive software. The build and shape is designed in a way that is optimised for both claw grip users as well as fingertip grip users. The rear hump supports your palm and a slight divet in the
mouse buttons and on the side help you feel confident in your grip. The X2A is also remarkably lightweight, coming in at 56g (+/1g) and has excellent build quality. This mouse is an ambidextrous mouse, designed for both left and right-handed gamers, however if you’re right-handed and weight is a key factor for you then you might want to opt for the X2H v3 instead as, depending on the size you go for you will be able to shave off a couple of grams, netting you a mouse weighing between 51 to 53g. A contributing factor to the X2A v3’s ultra lightweight numbers is in it’s design. The open cut-out bottom plate definitely helps reduce the overall weight, but a downside to this is it also exposes the internals to dust and debris, meaning a little extra upkeep may be required.
Along with it’s ultra lightweight, the X2A v3 delivers amazing raw performance, with fantastic sensor latency and click latency that provides gamers a responsive gaming experience.
The Virgin Grade PTFE feet glides effortlessly across mousemats, although different mousemats with varying materials will have an affect on the the performance. First and thirdparty replacement mouse feet are available for the X2A v3, unfortunately the X2A v3 does not come with replacements out of the box.
The X2A v3 pairs with Pulsar’s Fusion Drive software. The companion application is well laid out and straight forward to use. You can expect to adjust settings like DPI, polling rates, scrolling speed, lift off distance, the ability to set macros and customising your button configurations. The button customisation has the standard options, as well as settings like ‘Left Click XClick’ which lets you double click with one button press, set shortcuts, or even control media buttons like play/pause and volume up/down.
The Pulsar X2A v3 has a minimalistic look so at first glace it doesn’t stand out amongst all the fancy RGB mice on the market, but what it lacks in aesthetic flair it more than makes up for in ultra lightweight performance. It’s ambidextrous design customisable buttons makes it suitable for many gamers, and it’s exceptional click latency provides an super responsive gaming experience suitable for top-level competitive play. As a left-handed gamer this mouse feels very comfortable in my hand, but personally I think I prefer the feel of the Pulsar X3 LHD a little more.
We took a trip to the ever so familiar ExCeL centre to check out MegaCon Live London! Many have said the previous events felt like what MCM Comic Con use to be like 10 years ago, which is no surprise considering the event organisers of MegaCon Live use to be the owners and organisers of MCM Comic Con. However is that comparison to the past a positive sign for the event, or is it a bleak outlook on the future? Is it worth attending MegaCon Live?
It is inevitable that MegaCon Live will be compared to MCM Comic Con as they are pretty much the same event, just on different scales. So what was there to do at MegaCon Live? There were a variety of panels spread across three stages, meet and greets, a gaming area, a section dedicated to cosplay, numerous photo opportunities, a space for tabletop, board games and trading card games, a kids friendly area, a corner for artists and writers, and of course a plethora of vendors.
Along with Cosplay Masquerade, one that is always a crowd favourite, there were many other notable panels that took place over the two days of MegaCon Live. The main stage played host to a variety of guests. Attendees were treated to a Baldur’s Gate 3 panel with some of the voice actors, for example Andrew Wincott who voices Raphael amongst other characters. There were also panels featuring actors such as Paul Anderson, Jonah Scott, Tom Rosenthal, the cast of Torchwood, and various actors from the Doctor Who series. The other two stages hosted a variety of artists, cosplayers, content creators and interactive panels such as a Pokémon quiz, hosted by Serebii.
The Gaming Area (more akin to a large booth space) had various gaming options set up. There were a row of sim racing rigs, a gaming bus with arcade machines inside, arcade machines outside of the bus, and multiple console gaming stations. All-inall it was ok, but left much to be desired. If attendees fancied a break from the screens they could try a large variety of board games and tabletop games. There was also a booth set up for attendees to play the One Piece card game as well!
What impressed us was the numerous photo opportunities available. The main photo attraction was a Game of Throne photo spot that was setup by a company, however there was a section of the event hall with various backdrops catering to different styles and genres for anyone to use; a very nice addition for cosplayers to get some amazing photos. This is definitely a positive MegaCon has over MCM Comic Con as this would be difficult to implement for MCM without there being big queues and crowds gathering, potential blocking pathways.
The Kid Mega Zone was a kids friendly area with a variety of different soft play and bouncy
castle activities for little ones to play in - from a massive bouncy castle slide, to a little Dora The Explorer play space, kids had space for them to enjoy themselves and safely play in (with adult supervision of course).
Community spirit is a huge part of events like MegaCon Live. There were many cosplay meetups organised by various groups, as well as a random k-pop dance gathering, which was very popular. It was very wholesome to see a large group of people dancing in sync and generally just having a fantastic time.
So how were the crowds at MegaCon Live?
Our expectations of travelling to the ExCeL centre for an event like this is based on our experiences with MCM Comic Con. Due to the sheer difference in size between the two we obviously wasn’t expecting the MegaCon Live to be has jam packed as MCM Comic Con, but we still expected it to be busy and a similar slow walking pace between stalls - this was far from what we experienced. The event wasn’t that busy at all, with Sunday being the busier day. There was plenty of space to walk at your own pace without having to squeeze past large groups.
Having spoke to various people, MegaCon Live was apparently a lot busier last year (2024) and the tickets for 2025 were actually sold out, which leads us to believe the attendance may have been largely affected by train problems and the storm causing travel issues.
The question remains, is it worth attending MegaCon Live? We think so, especially if you’re into cosplaying. The event is great for meeting up with the cosplay community, giving you the opportunity to network and make new friends. We feel like the event is trying to accommodate cosplayers and improve the overall experience. We feel it is still worth going as a regular attendee - it is a fun day out with or without kids. If the event remains the size it is then we don’t recommend getting a weekend ticket, but rather just a day ticket instead as you will be able to experience everything on offer in a day. We feel like MegaCon Live is a more relaxed, less crowded, and more toned down version of MCM Comic Con. If you want a con experience where you don’t have to battle the crowds then you should definitely consider attending MegaCon Live.

This year’s show was a testament to the rapid advancements in technology, with industry giants like Nvidia, LG, Sony, and many others stealing the spotlight. The inclusion of an AI assistant that tailor’s recommendations based on user voice recognition further enhances the viewing experience.
Sony took gaming to a new level by introducing a panoramic TV room that incorporates smells to match the on-screen action. During a demo of “The Last of Us,” players could experience the scent of virus-riddled mutants, adding an immersive layer to the gameplay.
China’s Roborock introduced a robot vacuum with a mechanical arm, designed to free other robot vacuums ensnared by obstacles like iPhone chargers. Powered by AI, this innovative device can differentiate between objects, ensuring it only picks up items like socks and not, say, a baby.
Lenovo unveiled the world’s first rollable laptop, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, featuring a flexible display that can be rolled up for easy portability. This concept device showcases the potential for future laptops to be more versatile and compact.
Hisense wowed attendees with its 163-inch micro-LED TV, setting a new standard for largescreen displays. This massive TV promises unparalleled picture quality and is expected to be a game-changer for home entertainment.

In an unexpected turn of events, Ubisoft has announced a further delay for its eagerly awaited game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Initially slated for release in November 2024, the game was previously postponed to February 14, 2025. However, fans will now have to wait until March 20, 2025, to dive into the next chapter of this iconic franchise.
The decision for this additional delay was made to ensure that the game delivers a polished and fully immersive experience. According to Ubisoft, the extra development time is crucial for fine-tuning and incorporating player feedback gathered over recent months. CEO Yves Guillemot addressed the situation, explaining that this extension is part of Ubisoft’s dedication to producing a high-quality product that meets the expectations of the Assassin’s Creed community.
“While we understand that delays can be frustrating, our ultimate goal is to deliver the best possible gaming experience,” Guillemot said in a recent statement. “The additional month will allow our team to make the necessary adjustments to ensure that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the most ambitious and engaging entry in the series.”

The variety of workouts, structured programs, and community features make it a compelling choice for anyone looking to add a bit of excitement to their fitness routine. In the vast realm of hack-and-slash action games, few titles have carved out a niche quite like the Dynasty Warriors series. With its latest instalment, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the developers at Omega Force have breathed new life into the franchise, refining the classic gameplay formula while introducing fresh mechanics and a more personal narrative. As a long-time fan of the series, I approached this game with both excitement and trepidation. I’m pleased to report that Dynasty Warriors: Origins not only meets expectations but often surpasses them, delivering an engaging and visually stunning experience.
At its core, Dynasty Warriors: Origins retains the familiar “1 vs. 1,000” gameplay that fans have come to love. Players take on the role of a powerful warrior, slicing through hordes of enemies with ease. However, several new mechanics and enhancements make this entry stand out.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins offers an impressive array of weapon types, each with its own distinct feel and mechanics. From the swift and agile dual blades to the powerful and defensive sword-and-shield combo, the game encourages players to experiment and find the weapon that best suits their playstyle. The inclusion of unique movesets and abilities for each weapon
type adds a layer of strategy and depth to combat, making each encounter feel fresh and engaging.
The game’s special moves and Musou attacks are more cinematic than ever, with stunning animations and effects that make executing these powerful abilities immensely satisfying. Each character boasts unique Musou attacks, adding to the excitement and variety of the gameplay. The fluidity of these animations, combined with the sheer impact of the moves, makes every battle a visual treat.
One of the most notable additions to Dynasty Warriors: Origins is the introduction of grand tactics and ambush charges. These mechanics add a strategic element to the gameplay, allowing players to command units, execute large-scale maneuvers, and trigger surprise attacks. Grand tactics enable players to set up flanking maneuvers, cut off enemy supply lines, and execute coordinated assaults, while ambush charges let players spring surprise attacks that can turn the tide of battle. These features not only enhance the cinematic quality of the game but also add a layer of depth that keeps players engaged.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins takes a departure
from the series’ traditional narrative structure by focusing on a single protagonist, the ‘Wanderer.’ This mysterious character embarks on a journey that intertwines with the lives of key figures from various factions. While the ‘Wanderer’ can feel somewhat bland as a protagonist, the interactions with other characters and the branching narrative choices provide a more personal and immersive story experience. Players can choose which factions to ally with, leading to different outcomes and adding replayability to the game. However, it’s worth noting that the limited playability of other major officers may disappoint long-time fans who are used to controlling a wider roster of characters.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a visual spectacle. The game’s environments are richly detailed, ranging from sprawling battlefields to intricate cityscapes. The character models are impressively designed, with attention to detail that brings each warrior to life. The game maintains a stable performance, even during the most chaotic battles, ensuring a smooth and immersive experience. The visual effects, from the sparks of clashing weapons to the explosions of Musou attacks, are stunning and add to the overall excitement of the gameplay.
The soundtrack of Dynasty Warriors: Origins is nothing short of epic. Combining orchestral scores with hard-hitting rock tracks, the music perfectly complements the frenetic pace of the battles. The dynamic soundtrack enhances the sense of immersion, making each encounter feel more intense and thrilling. Whether you’re charging into a horde of enemies or executing a grand tactic, the music elevates the experience, adding an extra layer of excitement.
Playing Dynasty Warriors: Origins is a seamless and enjoyable experience. The controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to execute complex combos and special moves. The game’s interface is clean and user-friendly, allowing players to focus on the action without getting bogged down by menus. The overall
In addition to the single-player campaign, Dynasty Warriors: Origins offers a robust multiplayer mode. Players can team up with friends or join online matches to tackle challenging missions together. The cooperative gameplay enhances the sense of camaraderie and allows for strategic coordination during battles. The online features are well-integrated, with stable servers and minimal lag, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for players.
The game’s branching narrative and multiple factions provide plenty of reasons to replay Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Players can make different choices and alliances in subsequent playthroughs, leading to varied story outcomes and new character interactions. The variety of weapon types and combat styles also encourages experimentation, keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting. Additionally, the game’s challenging difficulty modes and unlockable content add to its replay value, ensuring that players will find new challenges and rewards with each playthrough.

‘Karma: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian world where the Leviathan Corporation is omnipresent. The time is 1984, the place is East Germany, and things are not quite what they seem.’
We were lucky enough to be sent the beta version of this game, where we were able to play a demo that takes place somewhere in the middle of the story. Here’s what we thought!
From the get-go, it is very obivous the game is highly polished. The graphics are phenomenal, and the environments we explored throughout the game were incredibly detailed. The demo started with a cutscene where the character talked about their upcoming mission, followed by another cut scene where we were met with an important man in charge of the building we were investigating.
It become clear very quickly that in this world, social standing means everything. Every single person is ranked according their role in society. Our character, being part of the Leviathan Corporation, seems to have a somewhat high standing, and could therefore access certain machines and rooms that others would otherwise not have access to. In the mission shown to us in the demo, it seems someone of a lower ranking had in fact accessed one of these off-limits machines, and we had been sent to investigate as to why. The demo only lasted for about an hour, but from what we had played, it was a very intriguing experience.
The puzzles were suitably challenging, with one using time and the investigative abilities of our main character in order to find the answer.
We really enjoyed those elements of the game, but also the general spooky vibe of the whole thing. We were constantly on edge, peeking around the corners, cautious that something, or someone, would come charging at us at any moment. In one instance, we were even warned not to turn around, but of course we did! No spoilers as to what happens if you are brave enough to turn! With the demo being in the middle off the game, it was a little difficult to follow the story elements somewhat, but we were able to kind of follow what was going on. I’m sure that with the full game, the story, whilst having its twists and turns, will be much easier to follow in that respect! From what we did get of the story though, it was extremely interesting, and we were a little disappointed that the demo ended where it did. We wanted to play more!
Overall I think this game has a lot of potential. The graphics are gorgeous, the voice acting is also top notch as well. We particularly liked the use of the machines that only the main character can access in order to see potential evidence. We were particularly intrigued as to why everyone had televisions for heads, but that will surely be answered when the full game is released! We can’t wait to see what Karma: The Dark World has to offer when it is fully out on steam!
A fantastic demo with an intriguing storyline, incredible visuals and fantastic sound design. This isn’t one to ignore! Check out Karma: The Dark World on steam today!
Name: BLAM
Pronouns: He/Him
Content Type: MOBA/Competitive
Likes: When his teammates have thumbs
Dislikes: Cheese (lactose intolerant. Sorry, not sorry!)
Hi BLAM! Thank you very much for taking the time to have a chat with us! How have you been and what have you been up to recently?
I’m amazing! Thanks for having me, it’s a pleasure to grace your February issue. I’ve just gone full time with my esports caster and recently in my down time I’ve been enjoying non competitive games but, it’s a new year and the time has come to be competitive again!
Tell us a little bit about your content creation life? How long have you been doing it, and what made you want to start?
My content creation journey stopped and started alot due to changes in my life but going full time with my casting has now given me more freedom. Means I can put more time once again back into my content which I am so happy about. The thing that got me started was the enjoyment that came from teaching people the games I love. Fun fact, my first game was DayZ back in the days of Mixer…. No mobile insight! Imagine my shock!
As a content creator, what is your favourite bit of tech, software or plugin that helps you do what you do, and why?
Being a mobile content creator I have to say, my mobile is my favourite piece of tech. I think sometimes people & other creators forget the true potential of making our lives easier when
it comes to pumping out short (with the use of The Cloud), being productive and keeping us in check. Mobile does it all baby!
You predominantly stream and create content for mobile games like League of Legends: Wild Rift. What got you into mobile gaming, and do you prefer it to gaming on PC and consoles?
I think it’s just the ease of access when it comes to mobile gaming, there’s something so freeing that you can play console level games on your mobile! Whether that’s on your commute to work, on your lunch break or even on the loo! You can smash out a quick 5v5 no matter where you are, it’s amazing. One of the reasons I create content on mobile is to break that stigma of “we’re not real gamers” or “Oh you mean like Candy Crush?”.
What has been your favourite moment being a content creator so far?
Meeting new people, especially people that I consider my friends now. There’s alot of fickleness in this industry but every now and then you meet a true gem! Like yourselves!
From everything you have learned so far, what advice would you give to the young BLAM that was first starting out creating content?
Turn off your viewer count, just enjoy the ride! Also, pick up mobile gaming sooner!
Away from your content creation life, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love consuming esports. I’ve never been a sports fan and I never understood the enjoyment sports fans got from supporting a team or why they have a favourite sports person. Now, I completely get it and I’m hooked! Also, a massive foodie! Love a good kebab me.
As well as being a content creator you’re also a professional caster for NXT Mobile. What made you want to get into casting? Was it something you discovered you had a talent for or was it a skill you spent time developing?
Honestly, it all came from watching League of Legends and WildRift esports. I’ve always been fascinated by the skill that’s these talents have to create such momentum in crucial moments and also create amazing narratives for players and teams. Last year I had a conversation with Charm the Gamer, and it was in that conversation I realised
choke-slammed off of a steel cage. Maybe it’s all MiniBLAM living his childhood dream.
Do you remember your first ever casting experience? What game was it and how did it go?
Yes, I was giving the opportunity by a third party organiser within WildRift. My payment was a free skin... but man, it gave me such enjoyment that I could be the one to narrate this tournament. Those watching really enjoy it, but I definitely received feedback. From that feedback I’d say I did an okay job for my first time but that’s a part of the experience, doing and learning!
You recently travelled to the other side of the world as a caster for the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship. What was the experience like? From the photos it looked like it had a very impressive production behind it.
It’s been over two months now and not a day goes past that I don’t count my blessings that I got to do something like that. It was honestly a truly amazing experience and I’m super grateful that I got to do it! From the very first day it was electrifying, meeting new people, talent, production and players.
Indonesia heat was crazy and on the first day we didn’t have any air-conditioning on the top floor where the English broadcast desk was, and the lighting wasnt optimal. If you go and watch the first day on YouTube I’m in complete darkness on the desk, which most would’ve been annoyed about but I was there to do one job and that was to cast so I didn’t care. I was living my best life haha.
Also, first time visiting Indonesia and my gosh its a beautiful country full of people with great hospitality. Would recommend readers to visit there some day!
We often see casting duos consist of someone who is very analytical, and someone who brings the energy with the play-by-play commentary. What kind of style do you try to bring to the matches you cast?
I’m definitely more of a PBP because I love getting hyped with the viewers and the crowd cause I’m just like them, a fan but I get the really cool part, I get to be the voice behind the moment.
The finishing call on those epic upsets! I’m also a nerd so I do love to partake in the Analyst side also!
How much preparation and research goes into casting each match?
Heaps and heaps, it’s mainly prep and research about teams and players. Like whos within the teams, their history, their main picks and their pocket picks because these things fuel the narrative and they are also good conversation starters if there’s any technical difficulties with the broadcast and trust me... there’s a few of those so you have to be prepared!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to get into casting esports matches? Where would they start?
Co-stream tournaments but use these opportunities to find your voice. Learn how to pace yourself in those epic moments. Approach 3rd party tournament organisers and once you’ve done a few co-streams build a showreel that you can post around on social media.
In no particular order, what would you consider to be your top 3 games as of this moment and why?
Honor Of Kings: Because it’s fun, competitive and widely accessible (don’t need the best of the best phone to play)
Ratch & Clank: Rift Apart - a blast back to one of my childhood favourites. Love this franchise to bits!
SuperVive - I feel like this game will be the next big thing. Super fun with or without friends. Keeps me entertained with the craziness that goes on!
What is your earliest memory of experiencing gaming?
Sitting on the floor in my Mum and dads kitchen play Donkey Kong on the SNES. Simple times!
Do you have any guilty pleasure games you love playing but your friends and/or community tease you for liking?
I mean I play League, every that doesn’t play League judges me for this haha.
Are there any upcoming games in 2025 that you are excited to play or potential cast for?
I think SuperVive or Predecessors are two games I would love to grow and cast.
Are there any events, anywhere in the world, you would love to attend as an invited creator or caster?
Would love to go to Gamescom as a content creator….. that would be huge!!!
Finally, what are you currently working on that you’d like to or are allowed to share with our readers?
Getting my content back to a more frequent schedule, starting up a website too with every HoK as well. Also looking for more opportunities to teach some Esports lectures because I got the chance to do that for the first time at the end of last year!
And that’s it! Thank you very much again for taking the time to have this interview with us, it’s been an absolute pleasure. We wish you all the best in the future!

Hi SleepyJoe! Thank you very much for taking the time to have a chat with us!
How have you been and what have you been up to recently?
Recently, I have been getting through the Christmas and New Year period and focusing on getting into a great headspace for the new content and ideas I have for myself. I want to start the new year with a bang!
Tell us a little bit about your content creation life? How long have you been doing it, and what made you want to start?
I have been creating content on and off for a long time, between 6-8 years in total. I have been dabbling with content, trying to find the right niche and a game I enjoy. In this industry, you can play popular games but not enjoy them, and with my journey, I want to enjoy every minute.
The way I started is simple and might even make people laugh. It began with the thought: ‘I game anyway, so why not?’ Haha! It may sound basic, but that’s the truth. I used to sit there gaming and absolutely love it. I had a real passion for gaming and dreamed of doing it full-time, and that’s how my journey began.
You mainly stream and create content around World of Warcraft – what is it about the MMO-
RPG that has kept you dedicated to it?
MMORPGs have always felt different to me. I love the grind, the excitement of coming home to make progress on something, and having something tangible to show for it. MMOs, combined with the multiplayer aspect of hundreds of people running around in an online society, offer so much to every type of gamer.
Take World of Warcraft (WoW), for example: from collectibles to raids and mythic dungeons, they’ve nailed it all. Want to play solo? No problem. Want to join a group and socialize? They’ve got you covered! Plus, every year or so, they release a fresh expansion, and we get to lock in and dive back in all over again. Haha!
What has been your favourite WoW expansion?
Every WoW player knows The Wrath of the Lich King was the best—haha! (Though there’s plenty of controversy about that.) Wrath of the Lich King brought both sides, the Horde and the Alliance, together to fight for a common goal: saving the world and defeating the Lich King. That was it—that was the mission. It was all of us against the undead.
The storytelling and the diversity of characters played a massive role in its success. To me, it was the peak era of WoW, and it truly set the standard for what an MMORPG could be.”
Do you have a favourite and least favourite boss fight?
There are so many bosses to pick from, but the best, in my opinion, is an old boss from Naxxramas called Heigan the Unclean. You’d damage the boss, and then he’d teleport to the middle, forcing the entire raid or party to dodge gaps in the floor filled with poison. The whole fight was nicknamed ‘The Dance’ because it had a set pattern, and getting 25 people to coordinate and ‘dance’ while fighting was just hilarious.
As for my least favourite, I’d have to say any boss fight from Mogu’shan Palace. The whole raid just wasn’t my vibe.
World of Warcraft has been out for 21 years, with 10 expansions released in that time. What advice would you give to someone that wanted to jump into the game today to get the best experience out of it?
Personally, there’s just too much content to cover instantly, so I’d start with Classic WoW. It’s a bit tedious, but where better to begin than at the very start? Retail WoW, on the other hand, has been designed with the older generation in mind. They’ve made big strides to accommodate players who have less time to commit due to real-world responsibilities. Leveling is now almost instant, even for your alts (other characters). They’ve streamlined the experience by making everything you’ve already completed skippable, giving you instant access to endgame quests instead of having to replay the same content over and over.
As a content creator, what is your favourite bit of tech, software or plugin that helps you do what you do, and why?
The best streaming asset I have has got to be the Elgato Stream Deck. It just makes streaming so much more professional. With the Stream Deck, you can do anything at the press of a button—if you can think it, you can put it into action instantly. It’s an absolute game-changer and something I’d 100% recommend to any streamer.
What has been your favourite moment being a
This is definitely one of them—haha! But seriously, I love how you can get invited to events and have the chance to meet brands, companies, and even have personal meetups with people you’ve connected with along the journey. As a gamer and streamer, you’re often indoors or behind a screen, so these events are a breath of fresh air.
I love the passion you feel at these gatherings, and there’s no awkwardness because everyone there shares the same enthusiasm and is in the same boat.
There are pros and cons to being a variety streamer as well as being streamer dedicated to one specific game. Have you ever considered creating content or streaming a different game?
I started out as a variety streamer, and I can tell you—it was a nightmare, haha! The Steam library of games I played once and never touched again is honestly horrendous. I’d love to just bank it all in. I loved playing different games and the thrill of trying something new, but I was always playing World of Warcraft offline because my community didn’t really enjoy watching it. Which is fair—it’s not for everyone.
When you’re streaming, there are always genres that some people just don’t vibe with. And when you switch games, you often don’t see the same people again because their interest was tied to you playing that specific game. For example, Fortnite players didn’t really enjoy World of Warcraft—it’s a completely different genre. And that’s fine. For me, though, sticking with World
of Warcraft was the best choice for my passion.
From everything you have learned so far, what advice would you give to the young SleepyJoeGaming that was first starting out creating content?
Never give up, no matter what. Early in my streaming career, there were times of low views and content hitting a brick wall, and it was so demoralizing. You get burned out, and I did, in fact, stop streaming. But I was always drawn back to it. Looking back, I would tell myself to stick with it and keep pushing. Hard work pays off. The only thing that makes it easier is that you enjoy it—nothing else matters.
Some brand partnerships/affiliates look good at first glance but do very little to help a creator grow. What is it like being a Razer and Ubisoft partner, and has it helped you as a creator in any way?
Razer has always been a company I’ve aspired to work with. Back in the day, when I got my
first Razer Naga for World of Warcraft, it was a dream to play with. As I started seeing more and more Razer products, they just seemed magical, and I could really get behind that.
Has it helped me as a creator? Yes. I don’t mind putting my time in for products I genuinely love. There are a lot of programs out there that offer affiliate status, but you have to buy the product to test it, and to me, they’re just after a sale and a bit of publicity. I’ll never fall for traps like that again.
Away from your content creation life, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love the gym and could go on and on about how it has impacted my life. I feel that a healthy mind helps you thrive more on the path to happiness. But apart from the gym, I just game—if I’m being honest, haha. I enjoy spending time with my family at social gatherings, but between content creation being a full-time gig and working full-time, there’s little time for picking up another hobby.
In no particular order, what would you consider to be your top 3 games as of this moment and why?
World of Warcraft – I adore the game, maybe a little too much.
Project Zomboid – I love a good survival game, and as challenging as this one is, it fits in with the same grinding and building aspects I enjoy in WoW.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) –There’s nothing more fun than getting the gang together for a blast in PUBG. It’s not just the game, but the amount of laughs I’ve had with my friends is untold. No stress—just pure fun from start to finish.
What is your earliest memory of experiencing gaming?
Oh god, I’m old school. I think the Sega Mega Drive was the first proper console I had. I miss the days of having to inhale and blow into the cartridge because Sonic the Hedgehog wouldn’t play.
Do you have any guilty pleasure games you love playing but your friends and/or community tease you for liking?
My community isn’t as involved with it since I play offline, but I enjoy a game called Northgard. Many people haven’t heard of it and often snub it at first glance, but it’s a strategy game and really peaceful to play solo. It definitely gets overlooked since it’s such a contrast to what I usually play, but you always need an offline game to help you reconnect with just enjoying the game itself.
Are there any upcoming games in 2025 that you are excited to play?
It’s got to be the iconic GTA 6. Come on, it has to be on everyone’s list! I’ve loved GTA ever since the top-down games.
Are there any events, anywhere in the world, you would love to attend as an invited creator?
Gamescon and, of course, the infamous
BlizzCon. I’ve never attended these events abroad, and I’d love to venture out of the UK. Being acknowledged as a creator at such a massive event would be a huge milestone in my career.”
Finally, is there anything you are currently working on that you’d like to/are allowed to share with our readers?
I have a couple of things in the works that I can’t say much about just yet, but there’s a lot coming with World of Warcraft.
I also want to give something back to charity, and I’ve discussed an amazing idea with my close friends. I know a lot of my community would love to see me suffer for the greater good! It will all be happening this year, so stay tuned—everything will be revealed soon.
And that’s it! Thank you very much again for taking the time to have this interview with us, it’s been an absolute pleasure. We wish you all the best in the future!
